Crazy, crazy weather. Wild winds, got up to snow, hail, rain and sunshine all in a day. The sun is shining right now, five minutes ago hail was battering the windows..oh, and it's cold to boot. Whacky....
It's called winter Tango. It used to occur a loooooong time ago between autumn and spring.
Also known as summer up here

I'm heading to the Quiraing again in August. If I need any rock hammers I shall look out for a room signposted KEEP OUT BARSTEWARDS!
And if I find any really worthwhile fossils I'll be on the lookout for a really stocky stock room to store them in.

Farnworth is about to be re-named "The Land of Broken Fences" ...the wind has wrecked so many. Mind you, what they're made of these days makes Balsa wood look like oak. Make that "The Land of Crap Broken Fences".....

It's not the midges that'll be causing him apoplectic fits, it's his fellow tourists in their thousands having left their brains at home...

Ah! 31.0ºC as I type. It is a bit breezy, but, heck, who cares. As Satchmo once sang "What a wonderful world".

I'm just looking forward to Wednesday on Tuesday.
