Ken Anderson - Old Owner (Definitely. For Ever ..... )

Take the pie makers...
Who forced them to make pies and sell them at a loss. Where do you decide a loss occurs. When do you decide that losses are more then you can bear...
Ken Is Not The Wicked Witch of the West!
It's not fiction. The piemakers could have stopped selling pies in the Macron months ago and diversified their sales elsewhere (but obviously not to Forest Green Rovers...)
OK, I'll bite: What about the players who are under contract? Staff who can't necessarily up sticks and leave? Police who are obliged to attend? The St John's, a charity who give their time voluntarily and only ask for costs to cover expenses?

No, Ken's not the wicked witch of the west. She was fictional, whereas our idiot is all too real - and can't be excised merely by chucking water over him.

And I'll bite back.
The players don't give a fxck - they are all under the illusion they are the next Messi or Bale. They'll get their wages whatever.
The police who are obliged to attend are doing their job. They are also obliged to attend terrorist massacres in Manchester concert venues. They don't complain about either.
St. John's Ambulance turn up to Ashbourne Shrovetide Football - they're not there to make money.
Basically, I don't get your point... :conf:

You didn't mention the staff of our club who went unpaid for weeks.

My simple point is that Ken Anderson is bad for our football club. He's a colossal embarrassment. Given that our great club was today taken by a branch of government to the High Court, it's hardly hyperbole to say his actions have verged on the criminal. He has brought shame upon our club. I can cope with him not being rich enough to run the club, but I'm utterly sick of his moral bankruptcy, and by association that of those who might defend him.

Of course, you may have whatever opinion of him you choose, and I will defend your right to have it, even if I may have to withdraw from further discussion on it. Think what you want of him. Me, I can't wait to get him out of our club.

I never gave Vince a halo. In many ways he's an irksome look-at-me wazzock.

I said I preferred him to Ken. That's not conflation, it's comparison.

And I defended his right to claim his money back from Ken. At that point, you (presumably in reaction and conflation) took to defending Ken for his consistent defrauding of various agencies including players, staff, St John's etc. A curious hill to die on, but as I say it's your choice.
The hill is mole hill sized. The police get paid their wages whatever, as do the Saint John ambulance men. I'm not actually aware of any steward joining in the court case because they haven't been paid. Nor am I aware of anybody selling pies not being given a wage. Maybe I'm talking bullshit. Do you know anybody who hasn't been paid?

You see what happens is that everybody gets wound up until rational thought deserts them. Obviously, people have had wages deferred, but up until now nobody has had to have their lifestyle curtailed. Disrupted, yes. Curtailed, No.

Dale Vince is just leaping onto a bandwagon. He's totally entitled to do that, but leaping onto this particular court case shows what a shallow cxnt he is...

Anyway Uncle Ken is a timing genius.

He has given himself two weeks plus one hour due to the time change at the end of March , that one hour could be vital looking at his past track record.

Should defo have closed this thread - all gone well weird (not you knobby:)

anyhow, latest from other site:
up until last night Kenneth had no representation
was going to let the club go into liquidation (uncontested) to hope/force a sale in 7 days
he's such a knut -- & fine role model to our children
(take all above with whatever pinch you require)

We lose an hour at the end of March as the clocks go forward. Ideally, it'll happen at half time at Loftus Rd.

Mystery buyer revealed?

This is a picture of the lead negotiator. The buyer is indeed foreign. We'll have the best defensive wall anywhere in the Football League as I understand it. Money no object as it's all going to be paid for by someone else.

That is quite correct. Anderson’s has a legal firm representing him all along - their name is on the inner circle stuff at companies house. There is no way a barrister wasn’t booked for today.

Anyway
It’s coming to a head, although I feel like I have typed this a few times recently! The mans trying to squeeze the deal for all he can, but Inthink he’s been cornered by Eddies lot....

I just hope this new bidder (and I’m all for someone quietly going about their business, rather than coveting media coverage) has the cash to sort the debt and help us move forward.
