Will the sun ever rise on the Brittas Empire?

I've absolutely no evidence for it, but I reckon today will be the day the new owners are officially announced.
But they said next week. I can't remember where they said it, but said it was by somebody.
Just call me Sam Spade, no investigation too much trouble.
Joint administrator Paul Appleton did indeed say next week, but about completion rather than Heads of Terms, identity revelation, open-top bus etc.

We are very close to finalising the Heads of Terms agreement and are working towards a completion date of next week.
I mean, you could argue that Appleton is saying both HoT and completion next week, but I think not. Even so, no stunning shock if it drags on further.
Heaven forbid there should be a prompt resolution, barnet. What on earth would we have to speculate about then!

Ooh, I've fancied being a private dick ever since watching the HBO series Bored to Death, which has one of my favourite comic characters of all time: Ted Danson's peerless George Christopher. Very highly recommended...

Well, they'll need to get a wriggle on as time's becoming increasingly of the essence. We need to assemble a squad, train, play friendlies, sell season tickets. One hope's that stuff's happening behind the scenes and we'll be good to go soon after. However, this is Bolton Wanderers.

It says:
Bolton. I'm making stuff up.

:D

Nah, actually it says:
Bolton. There’s a reason for hold up with Football Ventures deal. Not for public domain. If it’s not done on schedule then there’s a problem. Not the case just now.

I guess time will tell. He posted 5 people had paid wedge to see the books - that was probably correct at the time he posted it (although there appears to be 6 in total at the end)...He's also posted there's nothing in the "Dutch" rumour (as have a couple of other people) - so I guess we'll see about that too. I only posted it on here because it's relevant to the thread. People can make their own minds up as to its validity (as indeed you have :-) ).

I wasn't having a go in the slightest. I welcome information. I have indeed made my mind up on its validity, and shared that view. But, to repeat and expand, I thank you for bringing me Nixon's tweets to a wider public (even if that was just me. I've got no idea why Bruce can't read what was WRIT LARGE on my screen... :conf: )
