Parky is streaky. FACT. Currently on a very long streak.

Bloody hell Barnetto aren’t you on holiday? You must be bored to sit proving my sweeping generalisations wrong! Or nearly right. Yes, oddly I had wiped last seasons start from my memory!

Which actually means two out of three seasons pre seasons under Parky have done the job...oddly the two more disrupted ones as well. Man for a crisis? Sack him in September perhaps???

Probably deserves its own thread eventually but we’ve got Rochdale away in the League Cup.

This is gonna be a long, hard season. The 16/17 season was one of the best in recent memory, but I can see this outing in League One just being absolutely horrible.

We’ll need to sign a player a day by the time this gets sorted.

It's a right mess that could get worse thanks to that piece of shit Bassini, but we need an 11 to start the season, not a squad. Then til the end of August to pad it out, plus freebie rejects after that if necessary.
Given that this pre season activity will be ocurring during the actual season, it'll be a long while before we break zero I reckon. Christmas?

Let's just hope Bassini gets fecked off sharpish.

Panic Fannies!

It'll be reet.
We already have enough players...
The Rules of the game of football state:

Number of Players
A match is played by two teams, each with a maximum of eleven players; one must be the goalkeeper. A match may not start or continue if either team has fewer than seven players.

There's nothing in the rules that state you can't play two or even three goalies as long as they're in different positions. So we're sorted

Bollocks! They're only Laws in the way that Newcastle played for a bit at the Sports Direct Arena.

The FA can puff themselves up and call then what they want, but nothing wrong with referring to the rules of the game. Bah.

Takes a special sort :D.

Well, the club have confirmed that 'we' will be playing Preston at Leyland a fortneet tomorrow. I'm wondering, being as they'll all be playing as 'A Trialist', is there the footballer equivalent of Shazam, whereby you can just point your phone at a player before exclaiming, "feck me, it's Rakish Bingham" :)

I note that when one scrolls down that link that one comes across a photo of Ken Anderson still grinning like a disinterred corpse from an ancient Egyptian tomb. It's like being a resident of Pyongyang, constantly forced to kowtow to the cadaver of the Eternal Leader.

Haven't seen it mentioned but our game at home to similarly-strapped Bury - aka El Brassico - has been chosen by Sky's rubberneckers. Moved from Sat 7 Sep to SUn 8 Sep (noon KO).
