33% better than two rivals rather than three, because if we manage that I'm confident we'll see off bury as well.
Don't know where this optimism is coming from.
Maybe this sunshine is getting to me.

With seven teams promoted or relegated, the third tier is statistically the easiest to get out of. Trouble is, more go down than up... and yes, it has struck me as grimly amusing that we get our first-ever points deduction in the division with the roomiest trapdoor.

Oh well, it is what it is. It’s literally a bright, bright sunshiney day, so let’s hope we can soon see clearly.

I think the take over is more advanced than reported. The friendly game that took place yesterday was the first sign that things are beginning to happen. Those players must have been made promises regarding pay to actually turn out and play. Maybe they have been paid?
I am more optimistic than at any other point during this mess/crisis what ever we think. Lets hope the season tickets will arrive soon and get the season underway.

It's an odd one. It felt positive to see them playing and risking injury but I'd be staggered if any of them played on the back of yet another promise of payment.

I voted for option 2, for two reasons:

1.) I think we will be relegated, I can't see us getting 65-70 points from where we are that we would need to overcome our starting deficit.

2.) option 2 is between 1 and 3, and based on the information out there at this moment it seems 50/50 whether this takeover happens in time for the season to start. Good signs that we put a team out for the private friendly game, but FV still look like they are going to have to complete the club takeover without the hotel being completed, something that seemed very difficult to achieve based on the reporting last week.

They cannot complete without the hotel - I don't think that is going to change at all.

However, the situation regarding the hotel has changed since Quantuma's statement. It still needs to be done though and no time left.

Brinkmanship takes on a whole new meaning when even the administrators are playing at it. The old "Elephant hanging off a cliff with it balls tied to a daisy" adage looks compatible to health and safety compared to us right now. But....COME ON YOU WHITES....... ae:)
