Cheers, Tango. Very kind of you. Indeed, it being a Saturday means it's rude not to go out for lunch ;) :pissed:

^^^ Cheers Owd Lad ;)

Now then, here's a summat - how come the fronts of our cars don't get covered in squashed midges any more?

Used to have to soak the little blighters off and use copious screenwash. Hardly use any now.

What's happened to them?

They evolved. They now wear armour. You still kill them when you plough through them, but instead of splatting your car they bounce off and die in agony on the roadside...

:conf: I've just completed a two hundred mile journey this morning, my windscreen is absolutely splattered with the internal organs of flies, gnats, moths and assorted insects. Maybe, now you've reached the grand old age of 53 you're driving slower. (I SAID, {why doesn't he put his hearing aid in?} YOU'RE DRIVING SLOWER *mimics gripping steering wheel*)

If I hadn't heard of them before I'd have definitely thought it was April 1st.

Cute little buggers.

Depends on your eyes and which article you read. I've read one that said they are 1mm long and Wiki has then 0.5mm. Either way they are visible to the naked eye (to some).
Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.
