Wow.
Unions, players advisory committees, views of fellow players outside the club. Have any of these even been mentioned?

Glad to see King Harmes get a game as that’s a lovely name. Other than hoping to see the other double barrelled lads get on, I’ve little else to add with regards to the team.

As for who’s not in the team, Christ knows what’s going on. I doubt they’ve just decided not to play for no reason, but even so, leaving a bunch of U18s to play against a bunch of professionals is despicable.

The oldest player in our starting line-up today is 24-years-old. And he's two years older than the second oldest.

The average age of the squad is 19.

Incredible, really.

Alnwick, Matthews. Murphy’ Lowe, Oztumer. Absolutely disgusted with you. Get out of the club. You are part of the problem. After that heroes reception last week you have just shit on the fans from height. Wankers.

Positively though fair play to the real men in the squad - those out there today. Show em how it’s done lads.

Only Weir and Edwards were alive when Tony Blair became PM. Only Weir was alive during Euro 96. None of them were alive when DeFreitas scored at Wembley.

Utterly gobsmacked by that team. Nothing I have read convincingly explains why senior players who played last week have refused to play this week.

Bassini not allowed into the ground!!

Anyway COYW.

I guess this a real life experiment of the "if we had no professional players the club would still make a loss" thesis...

Really surprised at the likes of experienced pros like Jason Lowe and co doing this. They'll all probably be going separate ways shortly, so why unity on a strike that will prove nothing and do nobody any good. Wonder what the new owners are thinking? Baffling.

When I was a boy, someone having a double-barrelled name tended to indicate that they were from well-heeled, landed stock.

Now it tends to indicate the exact opposite.

Still 0-0 after 19 minutes. That's quite an achievement given the BBC is crediting Coventry with 70% possession and three shots to one.
We might even climb off the bottom of the table. :D
That's not a leopard!
