Goalkeeper Stan Hanson kept the nets of Bolton till he was 40. Our new lad today is 17...how times change. By the way, Stan was of Norwegian descent. Did anybody know that; I didn't.

Glad to see King Harmes get a game as that’s a lovely name. Other than hoping to see the other double barrelled lads get on, I’ve little else to add with regards to the team.
When I was a boy, someone having a double-barrelled name tended to indicate that they were from well-heeled, landed stock.

Now it tends to indicate the exact opposite.
Bruce Tempranillo-Rioja, it has a certain ring about it!!!

Sure Remi Matthews is in the crowd.

Wanker
Hope the fans around him are politely demanding an explanation.
Wanker indeed.

Well, Coventry scored but it was disallowed for offside and we replied by King-Harmes blasting a volley in (saved) . Have it..... :D

It's not Matthews.

Another 100% effort. So glad they're giving as good as they get.

See Luca Connell isnt even making the bench at Celtic -- he could have been our main man this season if he'd have stayed

Great effort lads. So chuffed they got to half time with the clean sheet. Can't see us holding out much longer, or keeping 11 on the pitch for that matter but they've done us proud again.

A very respectable half indeed, even though it's inevitably heading one way. We've had a few bright spots and have played some tidy football. The difference in physicality is apparent, and we've understandably made some naive decisions, but they're no match for us in terms of effort and enthusiasm.

King-Harmes has worked harder than any player I've watched for a long time, but there's no chance he'll last the ninety because he was blowing after twenty minutes. And I think Brockbank has a big future ahead of him. He's a lovely player.

The last thing to say on that first-half is that the atmosphere has been oustanding. It's clear that the players are feeding of it.

Well, team-wise, I guess this is what some of us were hoping for (dreaming of) last season ("get the kids in!"). Such a shame some key players from that team have been moved on, nonetheless, could be the start of something genuinely positive here. I think this is about the only positive atm really, and I for one will take it.

coywb indeed!!
