Unfortunately I think 2 games in 3 days will prove to be too much for our young lads, particularly if they've been up late finishing their homework!! (What a privilege it was to see that performance on Saturday)
I feel reborn !!!! No more confussion

No reason to change team, unless there are injuries.

No way should those lads be sent out again a few days later after their efforts Saturday. All need resting. Can't risk injuring them at this stage in their career....officer_dibble wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 11:58 amNo reason to change team, unless there are injuries.

I’d extend injuries to cover shattered, but I was far more up for football every day at that age than in my 20s! They couldn’t even drink on Saturday night!

They probably shagged themselves to death though. They'll be in no fit state for a Tuesday do.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 1:15 pmNarr they will be buzzing!BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 12:12 pmNo way should those lads be sent out again a few days later after their efforts Saturday. I only know that because I used to live on a Cemetery Road. Far more people spell it incorrectly than not, I found.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 12:53 pmDug up and re-interred...I was a bit of a Burke and Erred.....

Apparently Matthews, Lowe & Murphy back in the squad for tomorrow night (Oztumer & Alnwick out injured) - what the heck has changed since last Thurs / Fri ?, Parkinson says it was because the Bassini injunction news spooked everyone at the training ground !!

I think we should play the subs from Saturday plus the seniors who fancy playing again.
Give the heroes from Saturday a rest, both because they will be knackered and we are going to need them again at the weekend.
I'm all for telling the seniors who refused to play to do one, but they could be useful to get us through this game. The result is close to meaningless, in fact we could do without another game in this competition. That said drawing West Ham or Newcastle away in the next round would be useful in terms of revenue.
Plus it's BWFC in a football game, and we are fighting to stay alive. So actually COYW

Father Fitzpatrick would not have been amused with me. He drew the line at slapping heads but had a real icy glare..Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 3:38 pmI only know that because I used to live on a Cemetery Road.
