First big match I knew of was the 75 FA Cup Final. No memory whatsoever of the 76 Euros. Far too young! 😉
Well, listen up and you might learn summat ;)

England failed to qualify (of course).

In fact, I'm pretty sure that in all my time at school (Sept 72 - May 82) I never saw England play in the finals of anything.

The host nation, Czechoslovakia, beat West Germany in the final.

You'll be telling me that you're too young to remember Czechoslovakia next :)
No knowt youth! What about Italia 80?

I tend to be better behaved and prepared at parkrun these days thanks to my better half. I'll definitely do your local.one GG, but not sure when.
This week's tour took me to Shepton Mallet, some callow youth sporting a man bun was strutting the start line proclaiming he had 'serious DOMS man' from a 'mega session'.
That'll be his excuse for getting a trousers-down botty spanking* from a greying balding Boltonian then. :spank: :oyea:

Good stuff. The twins and I will come cheer you both up the hills and then have some brekkie after.

And ha, re man bun man. Bet that was particularly satisfying! (Figuratively speaking!)

Where the feck is the place you ran last week? Bedgebury Pinetum? You can tell that you are down south with the weird place names!

Which venue will you be attending for the hat trick run? I could come along if you fancy dishing out another botty spanking!

Edit - Just checked the records and Saturday was your hat trick of victories!

I have it down as being a pub game, usually played by old blokes, involving small ceramic / wooden tiles with dots on :conf:

It's "Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness". Basically, when you go to the gym/run etc and it doesn't hurt the day after but does the day after that.

You'll normally hear it discussed by people who take those see-through protein shake bottles everywhere with them.

There should have been a cermonial cutting off of the man bun and it then presented to LE!
