I'm not happy with em but I think it's important to keep the positive total support going that we fans have been giving. I'd hate to hear boos creeping in tomorrow night.

Hope that's the case Harry, aggressive booing could have an adverse and unsettling effect on the performance of the younger end, most of whom have probably never played before a crowd the size of last week's. Bolton Wanderers is Bolton regardless, and anybody not pulling their weight ( which is all they'll be asked to do) will soon be spotted. The cup is a bit unimportant to say the least right now, but still a good chance to character build on. So....COME ON YOU WHITES..!Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 11:38 pm

I'm not sure why the 5 decided to sit out the league game but are willing to play a cup game?!
Also, I'm praying for a win tonight. While a cup run might take its on toll on our fitness levels, it'd be pretty damn exciting right now if we can go on a bit of a run against all the odds.

I think the League Cup is now seeded too, so we would be more likely to get a big team – whatever that means these days...

That's a bit negative after Saturday's heroics!Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 12:06 pmI think the League Cup is now seeded too, so we would be more likely to get a big team – whatever that means these days...

“Come back, it’s only a flesh wound”: Local hero Brockbank, balanced uncertainly on the bloodied stumps of his lower limbs, refuses to buckle as Raheem Sterling whizzes past him to slot City’s 20th past an eight-year-old goalkeeper asleep in the line

"Cries of "Bruce Out, Ashley Sucks", rang around St James Park as an audacious 84th minute lob from Dennis Politic was inexplicably dropped over the line by Karl Darlow, extending the Magpies winless start to the season, and sending Bolton through to a lucrative 3rd round tie at Old Trafford"

Your all of yer tits
Right thing to do playing 3 of the 5 tonight. Overcome any negativity prior to the next league game.

They'll be booed for weeks and rightly so.

Two away games - next home games a Tuesday
I hope we can keep the feel good factor going for the kids.
I think the players were in the wrong but I also think we should keep them here. Can’t afford to replace them. Booing won’t help. Understood though...

I'll be taking in my first game of the season this evening. Today's just not going so well up to now though. So far I've been to the dentist, who advised me that I require further root canal surgery, and been to the gym, forgot my towel and have had to drive home in my stinks...... omens and that
May the bridges I burn light your way

All point to a surprise win tonight. Apropos of nowt, met my first wife at the Carlton Ballroom on Drake Street in Rochdale and used to meet in the Navigation Inn. We won the F.A Cup that year beating United 2-0....long time ago...Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 1:47 pmI'll be taking in my first game of the season this evening. Mmmm I would have kept Brockbank captain.
Not sure who is left back in that team either?

I can't get myself worked up about him not being captain, in fact I'd rather he just had the opportunity to concentrate on playing.
I think it'll be him and Lowe at full-back. I'm not sure who will be on the left, but I expect it'll probably be Brockbank.

Assume Brockbank LB and Lowe RB? Or Weir? Assume he's cm with Darcy and Murphy.

Lol we've been dealt a bad hand with injuries, haven't we? Hall finally gets his chance - gets injured. Same with the Turkish Messi.
