Berk in ead or mere scousers? Tranmere (A) 17.8.19 3pm

Post by Harry Genshaw » Wed Aug 14, 2019 10:58 pm

1500 away tickets sold in 2 hours according to their site. A fine effort.

More tired young legs or will we be able to bring in any new faces before KO? I won't suggest anything as ridiculous as the takeover being complete by then.

Can we avoid a heavy defeat? Could we win? Who's going?

Be a real shame if this is where the wheels fell off. Hope they have a glorious sign off in them before we sign some adults.

Tranmere, Anderson and Basinni......I get a mental picture of them doing the sand-dance. Can't even hear or see the name without thinking bad thoughts about that ball-wiping Dave Challinor (he actually held the world record for the longest throw in football) and Big Sam getting all the players back on the coach without showering or getting changed after playing there.. A win there would be just so sweet.....

Yes fingers crossed. Realistically the 2nd half at Rochdale is more of an indication of where things will go if there aren't reinforcements than the heroics against Coventry.
Let's hope they can drag another performance like that out and Tranmere continue to struggle. They've lost both home games and conceded 3 in each, plus away defeat without reply at Portsmouth.
Would be gutted if it were our kids who got them off the mark.
Here's hoping for an 8 point gap!

I object to any thread title which doesn’t refer to our opponents as the bin men, or the Prenton pricks.

It’s been a long time since we’ve lowered ourselves to the level of playing this lot. This will be the highlight of their season, no doubt. Will more than likely be a game too far for the kids, particularly if Edwards and Politic are injured as well as Oztumer, Hall etc. They will no doubt try to shithouse us off the park - still our support won’t wane and we can still leave that shithole having given the yokels a lesson in support.

The stain of Merseyside.

Hope we're not abandoning this match thread in favour of that interloper from Tranmere. Be a shame if we took too much notice of an obvious plonker.

When and where did "Hummel" appear?
Start of the season. Apparently discussions have been had about them doing the kits proper When The War Is Over.

Cheers D.S.B, didn't know that. Quite discreet, but no doubt we'll soon have three balls and a Cash Converter sign all over the shirts...

I know we need a sponsor but I hope it takes long enough that we sell kits without.

Though can probably diy from Hummel given it looks stock.

I like it but it's that bright it'll end up giving me a migraine if I look at it for too long.

Ditto on us temporarily having no sponsor.

That reminds me of the poster for Kill Bill 2. We just need a samurai sword or 11.

Think a fair few of those forms will need a counterpart signed by an appropriate adult.

Two half-time oranges each? What do you think we are, made of money?
