I can't remember seeing anything from Football Ventures (Whites) Limited as to their plans regard manager, should they eventually own the club.

Is that the case, or have I missed it?

They’ve said nowt. There was a picture of Parky in a Starbucks with someone said to be Sharron B and he does say he’s had a couple of meetings with her but equally he has been open that he doesn’t know what happens next. Some suspect he would rather get out, at which some would rejoice and others would worry.

On reflection it’s probably good that they haven’t made a proclamation. Had they said they’d turf Parky they’d now be in a very awkward situation. Had they said in early summer that they’d keep him it would have disillusioned many fans. But again we come back to damned if they do, damned if they don’t; bollocks to proclamations, what they need to “do” is complete, which is partly (but not totally) out of their hands...

Until Bassini stuck his oar in again, it was totally within their hands...

Agree with the sentiment regard proclamations, too much chest thumping about for my taste. I remember the photo, never saw whether it was as purported to be.

Yep. Being Jimmy Pip's assistant for a bit singles him out as being exactly the guy we need just now ;)

Who the next manager is, is irrelevant until any takeover is complete, surely?

Nah, some of us older ones remember several top-flight relegations...

Comical Ali Nixon spent hours on Twitter yesterday defending his old mate Coyle’s record at Bolton. Tried to claim (re-)signing Knight/ Ricketts/Andrews/Mills was good value. I needed jaw surgery from where it smashed to the floor.

And tried to claim he was stick with knight and ricketts from before, until some knowledgeable scribe pointed out he re-signed them after they'd proved completely unwanted by anyone else.

Yep. Noticed Coyle popped up on the radio (5 live NATIONAL FFS) about Parky last night.

In terms of villains of this price that man is the top ten! In the film version Nixon’s like some weir hobbit creature following Coyle round feeding off scraps from his dinner plate.

Ha, yeah. I managed to keep my temper with Nicko while lots of others did the ranting for me.

Good luck Jiminho. Good lord will you need it.

Hope not. It's not their game.

Jiminho for now till we see what's happening. Hopefully won't take long. I know we've thought that before but I think the supposedly imminent hotel decision will be the first domino, one way or other.
