Raining stairrods and our electric supply fxcking goes. Can't see fxck all inside because it's too dark, can't go outside because it's chucking water and lightning about like nobody's business. Fxcking weather!

Not just you Spotty! Much of London and the South East, plus areas further North. It'll no doubt reach Horwich and the Coventry game will be off!
Looks like I was merely on the periphery. We lost leccy for about 45 minutes, others apparently not so lucky. I'm also hearing rumours it was those pesky Russians rather than the weather, but I'll take that one with a pinch of salt.

Arrived at Old Dungeon Ghyll this afternoon, to find sodden roads, grey skies, and clouds obscuring anything higher than a gnat's bollock.
After meandering about Ambleside, and a quick trip to Keswick, plus marching the wife up The Band in order to give the dog a runaround, come back down to the Hikers Bar and am now sat in glorious golden sunshine with blue skies.
Be warned AT, I'm coming for ya!

Went up Dungeon Ghyll in pissing rain once and quite literally got washed back down. The amount of water that started coming over the top just seriously scary.
Went in to Ambleside and did as I always do. Straight into The Apple Pie Cafe for a toasted Bath bun and a hot chocolate - and calmness fell all around :)
May the bridges I burn light your way

No joke, the sun is really cracking the flags down here.

Hahaha 😁 Glad that multiple English people's holidays are ruined on the unlikely basis that it might piss off some Scottish politician who is used to it!
She's pasty as fook! She'll hate the sun. Rethink needed.
