Just chop off the overhangs and return to her property to dispose off, might not be so smarmy then.Enoch wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 1:22 pmI don't really do anger but my neighbour has decided to plant two f*cking sycamore trees one foot from the boundary between our two properties. So that's my autumn schedule mapped out for the foreseeable.
Out of over 60,000 species of tree she goes and picks a weed!
Ps always take piccies and keep them quiet if she does end up in court when your brief produces evidence and she gets stumped (see what I did there ) with costs you can really smile.

I doubt it'll get to court, Hoboh. At least not until they're big enough to damage the fence, which is mine! The c*nt!!!

They're f*cking weeds.
A man can spend half his life pulling the little seedlings out of the ground before their tap roots reach the Antipodes and if he misses one, the other half trying to dig the c*nt out.

Been away for a week, come back for the 61st inundation of BBQ smoke in 63 days (minus the eight days I've been away) from the recently converted to holiday let neighbour. .. Just poured petrol over the wall onto the still smoking remnants and watched in silent satisfaction as it went up big style... Awaiting the police. Fxck it.

Meanwhile the aluminium construction called a Barbecue that has polluted the very air I breathe for weeks on end is now a stagnant charred pile of shite that will no longer function... It'll give me some grace before it's replaced. Next door neighbours, who are actually neighbours rather than random strangers, have just come over and heaved a rock onto the smoking pyre in solidarity. No sign of police... yet.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Receiving a penalty charge notice of £100 for parking on a hotel car park I was staying at. The booking confirmation email (via a 3rd party) and the hotels own website both stated it was free parking, with no conditions attached. The really, really annoying thing is that this charge was for a brief stay, whilst I changed before visiting friends. I returned later for an overnight stay, so i’m expecting another charge in today’s post. The letter states there is a terminal in reception to enter your reg number. At no point was I directed to said terminal and didn’t notice any signs, though the wankers at Parking Eye said there are signs in the car park. That would be fine, except for the fact the hotels own site says free parking. I had no reason to check for signs. Angry doesn’t begin to cover it! Utter cxnts!
Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Parking Eye are wankers (based in Chorley I think!).
You might want to have a look at Pepipoo and the private parking ticket board on money saving forum.
Basically the only way they can enforce it is to take you to court on a contractual claim (and one of the things they would have to prove is that the signs were clear). From memory I think Parking Eye do take people to court (some can't be arsed, relying on people paying once they get the "ticket"). Given it was sent through the post, also worth checking they complied with the requirements to send it to the Registered Keeper.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Oof! I got a ticket from them for parking on Asda car park at MK Dons a couple of seasons ago. I downloaded the standard letter off the Martin Lewis website and they waived the charge. I was probably about 1 of 200 tickets they issued that night. Only needs 3 or 4 to pay up and make it worth their while.
The laws changed since they won in court but no way would I be paying in your circumstances.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
There’s not a cat in hells chance i’ll be paying. Phoned the hotel last night and was told to email the front of house manager, which i’ll do tomorrow and ask them to request those tw@ts at Parking Eye waive the charge. I’ll also ask that they amend their website. This must have happened loads of times and people will have paid up out of fear. How the feck is this sort of thing not illegal?
