And many thanks toEddie Davies family
That's the family of Eddie Davies that sold a club, with operating losses of £9.1 million for the tax year 2014, to Dean Holdsworth and Ken Anderson.
I guess it's just me.
I sincerely hope this one works out better. COYWM!
Be reet.
Re: It's done!!!
They've also probably just signed off to losing another 5 million to a greasy perma tanned arse wipe.Enoch wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 7:15 pmofficer_dibble wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 6:56 pmBig up yourself Michael James

Thanks for that. Obliged.Watfordchap wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 7:11 pmAs you may gather a Watford fan here. Just to give our congrats that you are still going to be around and that Bassini has not got his hands on your historic club. We know how you feel as we were a week away from liquidation when the Pozzos took over. I know that it will be a struggle initially but that is nothing to the struggle that you have had over the last few months.
Best wishes from us all and we hope to be playing you soon, preferably not because we have been relegated!

I don’t know them from a Adam. I suspect they don’t share their dads passion for this football club. By the sounds of it Ken has taken the deal to places they weren’t expecting, using the deadlines to make demands that were unreasonable. We owe them gratitude for buckling on behalf of their late father/brother/uncle etc. Whether we agree with his business strategies in the end or not.Enoch wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 7:15 pmofficer_dibble wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 6:56 pmBig up yourself Michael James

Appreciate the sentiment but let’s not tarnish this thread with the ‘B’ word. Clearly a stooge / useful idiot for our former owner. Theirs is a battle of the shithouses in court. Assuming he isn’t paid off now.Watfordchap wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 7:11 pmAs you may gather a Watford fan here. Maybe Eddie was just too trusting when he sold the club to those 2 feck nuggets? His family owe us nothing, but they have done their father proud today. Thank you!!

He gave the club and its untenable situation to a bloke with a payday loan and a bloke that had been disqualified from being a company director for multiple transgressions.
As I say, just me.

Season tickets, goldline, lifeline etc getting down to the ground when we can, sing our hearts out and keep our expectations low.

I’m sure he regretted it. He carried on paying bills after. Might have been better if he carried on paying bills a little longer as owner and not forced a rushed sale...probably would have saved him money in the end.Enoch wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 8:16 pmBurnden Paddock wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 8:04 pmofficer_dibble wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 8:00 pmI don’t know them from a Adam. I wonder if we'll ever realise just how close we came to the edge? Poor Bury reached it, we survived but were, so, so close....
