Its not Lee - his other son is the restaurant owner - though Ken initially owned them both.

Re: Administration and recovery
On the comments/ratings section of their web page Lee is definitely mentioned as owner (and not in a particularly good way). I do but pass on what I read....BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 10:38 amIts not Lee - his other son is the restaurant owner - though Ken initially owned them both.

Yeah but that is Bolton fans review bombing it. Its Anderson's other son who owns the restaurants - at least according to companies house records.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 2:32 pmOn the comments/ratings section of their web page Lee is definitely mentioned as owner (and not in a particularly good way). Kunty Ken walked away with £240k, whilst the £7.5m debt was 'forgiven' by the EDT.

In effect making his pay off almost £8M!Burnden Paddock wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 3:24 pmKunty Ken walked away with £240k, whilst the £7.5m debt was 'forgiven' by the EDT.

Re: Administration and recovery
Not sure. Wasn't the process; ED lends to KA, KA lends to club, KA is secured creditor against club, EDT has security against KA personal assets? Or something similar...BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 3:27 pmIn effect making his pay off almost £8M!Burnden Paddock wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 3:24 pmKunty Ken walked away with £240k, whilst the £7.5m debt was 'forgiven' by the EDT.

If so, given the writing off by EDT, KA's profit would be the £240K, plus whatever he was paid off as a secured creditor against club/hotel.
Plus any other financial shenanigans that may or may not have occurred....
It's over now anyway. A quick google search reveals Nick Mason has a net worth of around £120m, and Sharon Brittan £45m. They won't want to lose much of that on BWFC, but when you add Michael James and possibly Jeff Thomas, it feels a big step up from Ken in every way. Non criminals, with more money, at least one of whom is a genuine fan. A chance of stability. Calls for a hearty COYW

Really encouraging article. Definitely feel I can start thinking about the second half of the thread title now.

I think if I'd lost my sister I'd not want to work for a few weeks either.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 6:54 amAye. Wonder if you will apologise now? It's all coming out of the woodwork making a few people look silly.
I for one think we should all start with a blank slate and let bygones be bygones.

Time to move on in a positive direction but credit where it's due my balding pal - you called Ken out as a "spiv c*nt' pretty much from day one.
