Politic up top?

That'd be my guess.

Plenty of staff on the pitch pre-match. Hill and Flicker setting up a short-sided pitch while Allamby and Darby took the warm-up. Darby, watched by three others in “staff” gear (but could be junior players I guess), also did a (shorter) defensive warm-up. Butler for keepers.

Surprise lineup in more ways than one but we’ll see. Win lose or draw we have to get behind whoever’s in the shirts. COYWM.

did we already know that Bridcutt was captain?

(by "we" - I mean folk that are likely already to have known, i.e. not me!)

Narr
Lowe on the bench, Luke Murphy playing
Bridcutts captained before. Him or Evans I would of guessed at.

Thanks all for the best wishes. Appreciated. Still sounding a bit positive of a start for our new troops. Keep at it, get those 3 points and make a lot of folks' days. :oyea: :oyea:

Matthews Hobbs and Murphy?
What’s bridcutt been like?
Problem is this is like a pre season game for most!

Interesting. Joy of goal. Some good passages of play. Bridcutt looks a player: always available and an organiser too. Also notable that Hill made a proactive switch, replacing Weir with Lowe, pushing Emmanuel forward and Politic up front with Crawford dropping into midfield.

But we need to sort that defence out.

Bridcutt has been decent.

Should have said Hobbs and Murphy.

Matthews, nothing much he could do about the goals.
