Apparently the new (proper) kit will be available ahead of the Blackpool game.

Thought it was a joke at first. I don't usually really care about the kits but woooow. Are we making them ourselves?!

With a 3rd party - producing them - ethically - but sounds like we might have designed it with them direct rather than via a sportswear designer.
It looks fine to me...but then they always do unless they are illuminous pink. The HB logo is horrendous but that's the way it goes.

I quite like it & I have no issues with the sponsor....what do people expect, Harrods ? - we've previously had fiberlec, spin & win etc.
Usual meltdown on twitter, its a bloody football kit get a grip....we have had worse.

Sign of the times I suppose, but "How are the mighty fallen" has never seemed more relevant. That and a kit designer from Marvel Comics.

Exactly. I find people getting worked up about it extremely odd. Its a kit. The HB logo is a bit ugly - but they are the sponsor so we take the money and run.Bertie Wooster wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 3:16 pmI quite like it & I have no issues with the sponsor....what do people expect, Harrods ? - we've previously had fiberlec, spin & win etc.

Seriously? 4ucking hell fire, how short are peoples memories? If I mentioned this to the Bury supporters here they'd be absolutely beside themselves.Bertie Wooster wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 3:16 pm

Before people go on about the sponsor being shite, they are one of the more successful in the country with a net profit of £200+ million.
The only thing I can't get my head round is the Established 1877 font. Seems too big for the shirt.

In regards to Home Bargains, a few months ago most Bolton fans were hoping that the billionaire owner Tom Morris would buy us because he's so rich - he's now sponsoring us, so IMO that can only be a good thing.
I've seen a different photo of it in the club shop with shorts & socks and it looks ok.

They seem to care about their sportswear brands way way too much. I couldn't tell you the difference between them...and to me a shirt is a shirt.
Its also ironic that Home Bargains are probably the wealthiest sponsor we've had since Reebok yet they don't like it...

How do you debate and engage this sort of stupidity?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 3:39 pmThey seem to care about their sportswear brands way way too much. I couldn't tell you the difference between them...and to me a shirt is a shirt.

Re: New Kit: 2018/19
Bell ends
If I could change anything it would be the established 1877 logo / font
But feck me it’s a white kit innit
Get on with it, win some games and it will bring happy memories!

Don't care about Home Bargains, not a patch in the embarrassment stakes on the 188 blob.
But feck me it's hideous. And the "established 1877" looks dreadful. Ugliest kit in my lifetime, and there have been some shockers.
The ethically made bit is nice. Hopefully we've got some sort of model for running the club differently to find an edge. Would be quite chuffed for us to become a nice ethical club. Maybe we could partner up with Forest Green...
Edit: ugliest home kit. The piss yellow sports bra effort was special. This is worse than the Tesco bag.

It really is an incredibly ugly shirt, but so fecking what?!
Twitter going between the kit masturbators and the 'if you criticise it you're not a real fan.' I just find the whole thing amusing.
