Bit of calm needed and accept one in the nuts. Ref set it all in motion and it was all Mount Everest from then on. Bit surprised at the score, but que sera....

Do give over you daft sods

It's one game ffs.

It's a bucket load of perspective, we're far from surviving with the players we have. 3 wins in 4 and he needs sacking?

Fickle as feck.

I'm sorry DJBlu but we have just lost to Accrington Stanley 7-1 - I'll say it again we have just lost 7 fcuking 1 to Accrington Stanley. We are Bolton Wanderers not Chorley.

So what.

It's a game of football, we are in the same league as them. We aren't a Premier League or Championship team. We're a bunch of misfits in League 1.

People have got excited because we've won 3 on the bounce. Thinking we're world beaters. We're not and we've been found out today.

No issue losing, with 10 men, conceding 7 to Accrington is a disgrace
Poor tactics
Poor management
Disgraceful performance
Heads should roll

(Sack him was tongue in cheek for the record)

I'll say it again go through the Accrington team one by one & compare it to ours.

Heart, spririt & desire - they had it, we didn't have any of it, and that comes from the manager IMO, he's a weird fcuker (Hill) and I can live with it when we win, but when we get embarrassingly thrashed / hammered by Accrington I question it - those players didn't play for Hill today, they didn't play for the fans or the club.

I did try and say last week. We were pretty poor and won against a poor side mainly against most of the game. Today we were exposed. Performances in recent weeks have been poor. However you cut it. I’m not convinced we are good enough to win a majority of games in this league. The early passion and effort has dissipated.

I will say I don't think Wright is the best defender we've ever had.

You did sir & I actually agreed with you - Hill has been shown up today and it will take a lot for him to turn this embarrassment around (IMO), he had a much better side today than Accrington (player for player) and again we showed nothing - lack of passion & effort as you say.

Yes I'm really pissed off, annoyed & embarrassed by todays result which may influence my posts, but seriously I do think (and have done since he was appointed) that Hill's not much more than a pub team / Sunday League team manager - his 'bullshit' Cantona esq interviews have made me start to dislike him - I have a few mates who socialise with him, and when he was appointed even they said it was a poor appointment & that he's out of his depth managing us.

He wants fecking sacking!
I agree Dibs - even though we are down to 10 men, and the sending off was a shocking decision - 7-1 is a fcuking disgrace, this is absolutely piss poor & unacceptable, we are playing Accrington not Aston Villa - absolutely piss poor defending & organisation, out fought & outplayed by a team who's wage bill will be 1/2 of ours or even 1/3 - simply disgraceful.

This could possibly be one of our most embarrassing ever defeats in our history - not good enough from Hill & the players. I appreciate that its only one game, and we had a man sent off but we were lucky against MK Dons last week IMO, I had reservations about Hill when he was 1st appointed and results like this back that up.

Sometimes to me Hill comes across like a pub team manager in his awful pre & post match interviews, and todays result only backs that up for me losing 7-1 to Accrington Stanley is disgraceful - just go though our team man for man today & compare it to Accrington's, feck off Hill, & take the spineless, gutless players with you - you don't deserve to wear the shirt or represent BWFC.
Missed you, Pete x

In all seriousness there’s only one other Bolton manager we are losing by that score line under, with a ‘first’ team. Initials OC and one of the men mainly responsible for where we find ourselves today.

I’m afraid from minute one I’ve seen some worrying parallels. Enthusiastic clapping and a positive setup doesn’t cut it anymore. You need to be properly structured and organised in modern day football. The first priority is a solid structure.

Get the basics right. I have a big red flag - our attacking set pieces are awful. And we have a reasonably physical side. Yet rarely look like scoring. Always think managers who know how to organise you properly get those right.

It’s too early to judge or make any firm conclusion, but I’ve had a nagging doubt since the start. And recent weeks we’ve not played any better than we did for most of last season.

Awful day completely ruined by the ref's truly abysmal decision.

Mate, we literally lost 7-1 under Dougie Freedman at Reading. Bloke called Alf scored three in the first half. On that day, our goal was a consolation scored by Ngog.

By the way, further up the thread someone apparently having a thromby compared the clubs sarcastically to Aston Villa and Chorley. Worth noting that we're two divisions below one and two above the other, and we're also bottom of the league we're in. Some folks who are historically keen to give it the big whinge might need a splash of cold water about the face. One of the good things about this season has been the lack of gleeful I Told You So on here.
