Hope our manager is sufficiently annoyed to get the hair-dryer out at half time. He might make the point that we need, er three of them, desperately.....

Luke Murphy needless tackle gets a second yellow from the man in the middle. Clearly has fifty quid on a Burton win.

Either we've lost all sense of discipline or we're having  some real 2020 bad luck?

This is so painful to watch. So poor all over the pitch.

First touches, passing, movement, I could go on.

Not being helped by poor officials.

That looks like that then. Not a best New Years day so far. It will improve.

Jake Wright turned AGAIN. 4-2. fecking dreadful.

Let's hear the philosophical bollocks to explain this one away.

Replace Jake Wright with another defender and we'd be 3-2 up.

4-3 Politic

Hope Parky gets potted soon - I’d have him back any day of the week over this clown. Or is that not allowed cos he wasn’t born in Bolton 🙄

4-3 Game over,

Hill has some serious explaining to do. 4 goals conceded at home. Only one of which was acceptable. Get that fecking defence sorted.

11 v 11 is hard enough at best. 11 v 10 (two games now) ain't going to happen.

He'll be saying that Burton are a good team and we were doing all the right things except when they scored but we must look ahead to the next game. Wasn't it Coyle or Lennon or Parky used to trot out the same phrases week after week. Don't normally criticise the damager but I'm afraid he just doesn't cut it.

1. For all the pre-match doubts about him, Graham would've been a better option than Weir in that position.

2. It makes no sense to bring Daryl Murphy off and play Verlinden in his place, particularly with O'Grady and Dodoo available.

3. Although I can perhaps understand the thinking behind having players further forward to try and push the opposition back, going with a 4-2-3 when the two are Darcy and the hapless Weir?

I suppose it's easy in hindsight but I do wish he'd keep things simple.

Keith Hill you aren’t a hundredth as clever as you think you are. I’m not interested in your preening nonsense or verbal garbage in interviews. We were up against it from the start with a midfield of misfits. And it’s not your fault Luke Murphy is a complete waste of space or that Weir looks like he needs his hand holding. But it is your fault we are so chronically chaotically unorganised at the back. It is your fault that you are taking a striker off to play a 5ft midget up front and asking the keeper to pelt him with long balls. It is your fault that at half time you needed to make two changes but instead did nowt and cost us any chance of a point.

Sorry but he’s starting to look like the manager Rochdale fans grew tired of.

He’s an after dinner speaker not a manager. Got us into a decent position in November and we’ll and truly shafted us since. The clown.
