per Iles, "some Lincoln fans are now upset that Bolton can reinforce their squad before the game."
Well they can f*ck off and keep f*cking off until they've f*cked right the way round the world and back, at which point they can f*ck off again.

Jesus wept. Their pitch doesn't drain properly and WE get grief for that as well. No-one likes us etc etcDave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 4:10 pmper Iles, "some Lincoln fans are now upset that Bolton can reinforce their squad before the game."

Indeed. If the game was at our place then the under-pitch suction drainage system would've seen that the game went ahead. That they couldn't find enough potato farmers able to spare time to poke a fork in the ground is their problem.LeverEnd wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 7:54 pmJesus wept. So, assuming that Lincoln's Paddy field's up to it, we have this little issue to settle this evening. Gawd knows what the team'll look like. Is anyone going?

Me and the Mighty Flanners, having bought tickets for the original, are setting off from That London in the early afternoon.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 10:26 amSo, assuming that Lincoln's Paddy field's up to it, we have this little issue to settle this evening. Gawd alone knows who we'll pick but it's a sign of How Far We've Come that we're glad Luke Murphy is back available. Possibly James Weir and Dennis Politic too, given Hill said there was no deep motive behind their absence. Wonder if Liam Edwards could play left-back? And whether Hill will be tempted to go with Faal from the off?

I noticed young Brockbank made the bench on Saturday. It crossed my mind this morning that maybe he's lined up for it?
Every credit on coming up for it. Lincoln's a git to get to from anywhere.

Maybe but Brock's a right-back or centre-back. I wonder if we could play him (or Edwards) alongside Toto and play Zouma on the left, where his messes could be covered and his surges encouraged?Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 11:57 amI noticed young Brockbank made the bench on Saturday. Bought and paid. Joy of freelance is I can choose when to work. Slogged through Saturday instead.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 11:57 amEvery credit on coming up for it. Lincoln's a git to get to from anywhere.

I'm going to be honest and take little pleasure in it but I can't think of many places I'd less rather be than Lincoln tonight in the rain watching Bolton scratch a team together.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 10:26 amSo, assuming that Lincoln's Paddy field's up to it, we have this little issue to settle this evening. Huge credit to those who do go. They deserve to see something great. I hope they do.

It's the hope that gets you. Like the hope that this time will be like Bristol Rovers, which would be encoruaging if those two goals didn't represent half our entire away league haul - and the other two came in hammerings.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 12:12 pmHuge credit to those who do go. But then again, yesterday was the 27th anniversary of winning at Anfield, and my mate didn't go because he wasn't exactly flush and didn't ant to spend his beer money when he reckoned we'd get beat.

True, but Mr Hill's clearly not averse to playing players on their 'wrong' side, however.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 12:07 pmMaybe but Brock's a right-back or centre-back. Although still far from ideal, I'd much rather see your set-up.

Think he’s back “on the grass” but don’t quote me on it. Iles did a one-word update on him and other casualties (anyone remember Jack Hobbs?) on a Matchday Live a while back but it’s a bugger to find old onesBruce Rioja wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 2:53 pmI'd forgotten about him.
