Ya cheeky mare They're talking about building some apartments fairly close to here, described as being 'for the elderly'. 55 and over.

Apologies, Tango, I've only just read this. I sincerely hope that you're both on the mend, and that any discomfort is both manageable and bearable. The value of having a supportive family close by, as well as good neighbours, simply can't be measured or even summed up in words. All the best to you both, Pal.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 7:15 pmGood family and neighbours, God bless them all. Wife and I are both currently incapacitated, she from a gone-wrong hip op and me from a vicious arthritis flare up in neck, thumbs and a knee (this what ended my football days years ago , as the cartlidges got shredded and it visits at all the wrong times) . She's on a zimmer and I'm on two sticks and but for the good souls we'd be knackered. I can manage the local shop and small dog walks at a push, but three daughters and neighbours are being wonderful. Night time is worse, I haven't had a good night's sleep in a week, but it will all pass in time God willing. Always somebody worse off than ourselves....

Harry Genshaw is already a regular visitor to an Elderly People’s scheme. I’m sure he’d love to bring his mates along. Perhaps you and BP could join him after park run one day.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 5:02 pmYa cheeky mare They're talking about building some apartments fairly close to here, described as being 'for the elderly'. 55 and over.

I’m not saying I look down on people that have fake Christmas trees but it’s a tough call whether I can be friends with them

I went prepared for the weather conditions as they were when I left home. The layers came off during the run, but yeah, I do look a bit of a tit on those pics.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 10:59 amI've seen the pics of you with all that clobber on. Got tickets for Court no1 at Wimbledon. Monday of the 2nd week. Something I've always fancied but not so much as to ever go and queue up for. A mate got lucky in the ballot but cant go on the days they gave him. 125 quid each seems a bit steep mind.
Anyone been? Reccos? What to avoid?

Cliff fecking Richard. Avoid staying in the arena during rain delays in case the c*nt breaks into song.Hoboh wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 11:02 pmI reckon the strawberry price might make you winceHarry Genshaw wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 8:15 pmGot tickets for Court no1 at Wimbledon. Beer as well. Live very close to there now, was at the track opposite tonight. Found the price of a pint to be significantly more than in Great Lever.
Which has possibly contributed to me running better than I have in years!

Comparing Wimbledon to Great Lever!!
First thoughts are stop in the city and tube it into the ground on matchday. There's a roof on court 1 now so that should at least save me the chance of Cliff Richard!

Knowing that everyone loves Genesis, today I'm happy about scoring 2 tickets for their first tour since 2007!
