Given the mutations of the new strain are on the protein the vaccine targets (or at least seem to be) I will be a lot happier when we see some solid data showing the vaccine is effective against the new strain still.
Too late - you'll already be an automaton controlled by the evil empire of Bill Gates. Every morning when you open your eyes that Windows XP tune will play in your head and you'll campaign for a shift to 4-4-2 ;)
Maybe if The Authorities, started shooting escaping Southerners, it'd show a decent amount of Authoritarian intent.

:D Did you do a last minute dash from Tier 4 to Tier 2? If not, you're safe.

Struggling to remember what day it is between Christmas and new year. It’s weird enough at the best of times but in tier 4 with nothing to do and no one to see it’s even weirder. Being an introvert I’d quite love it if I was on my own, but with 3 young bored children it’s hard work. Have played more games of connect 4 then I care to remember and have taken far more time in the shower then normal in the mornings just for some peace and quiet. Anyone up to anything exciting?

Joining you in tier 4 as of tomorrow, so better dig out the board games. Not like we were that free to go anywhere and do owt anyway. Thinking of doing a bit of work tomorrow. 🙄

I'm having my nails done tonight and doing some non-essential shopping, because I can.

Your windows have been a fecking disgrace for five years at least! :) They're like the windows in the house of the local simpleton who shuffles about with a massive plaster on his forehead, but we all know that there's no injury beneath it, and that he's just too mean to buy new windows! :D

I thought all that was automated? Father in law is a usually upgrade every 3 years man, was phoned last week about upgrading to the latest model early - why on earth would anyone do that for it to sit on a drive?! Can’t imagine many buying cars currently!

I get an automated text from the garage, but you don't get an official reminder like car tax.

I fecked up 2 years in a row with my MOT. Cheap bastards have stopped sending reminders and providing stationery to garages.

Car tax is on DD so no need for reminders.

The upside this year is everyone got an extra 5 or 6 months to renew it. Mine had last been done in September 2019. The DVLA website said it was only due for renewal this month.

Absolutely fascinated by these Reddit internet edgelord's who have basically bankrupted a $13bn hedge fund, essentially for the lols.

There's a bit of me that thinks someone innocent must be getting burnt somehow, but it certainly *seems* p*ss funny.

There is certainly something curiously funny about short gamblers now complaining that their gamble hasn't paid off and it needs more regulation. Yes, generally against short gamblers.

Sounds good enough to me.
