Yeah a massive win. The gameplan worked in the sense we scored and if we are honest they rarely looked like doing. But the trouble with this is on another day, you get unstuck. I would like to see us play a little more assertively even if it’s clear they are a good side.
But 3 more points. Can’t go down.

That'll ding dong do me. Great away win. Mansfield getting a point or more at Tranny would top the day off quite nicely.

Wondered where you were going with that first sentence!Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 1:58 pmFook me, I was envying Prince Andrew then. I'm bloody wet through!
Made hard work of it second half, not helped by the ref and being unable to keep the ball in their half!

Despite dominating possession and territory they didn't create very much at all, did they?
It's a real testament to our defensive organisation.

That was as close as a PP performance Evatt has delivered. What is it you wanted earlier in the season?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 2:05 pmYeah a massive win. Hardly a smash and grab though either.

I agree on the midfield, though. I think we have to keep the Williams-Lee partnership together.

Put whoever behind Doyle - Delf, Isgrove, Dapo, but Lee needs to be in the thick of things.

Oh yes. Promotion is built on clean sheets as ever. We looked secure. I just think there were opportunities on the break to be more pro active at times. Parky’s side at 1-0 could work positions higher up the pitch and win some set pieces at which we threatened. This side are more dynamic and can hit on the break. But doesn’t matter how you get over the line sp long as you do.DJBlu wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 2:10 pmThat was as close as a PP performance Evatt has delivered. Ordered a celebratory KFC. Came without gravy. Sums that game up. Not perfect, missing something important, but ultimately still good.

But it wasn't another day. It was today, and it worked, and we won.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 2:05 pmYeah a massive win. You've been peddling this "on another day" bull all season. You can only play the team in front of you. It doesn't matter a jot whether the way we played today would beat anyone else. It was enough to beat Forest Green. And if we were playing someone else, we wouldn't have played exactly the same way.
Just enjoy yourself for once, for God's sake.

So we want a Mansfield win, probably a Carlisle win and a draw between Morecambe and Cheltenham?

Possibly but Morecambe beating Cheltenham would make things quite exciting...
I'll post updates on the Remaining Fixtures thread

Prince Andrew told Emily Maitlis that he couldnt be a nonce because one of the complainants said he was sweaty. He said he had a medical condition that prevented him from sweating. Cue photographs in the following days papers of Andrew sweating like I was by the 85th minute today.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 3:32 pmNothing!LeverEnd wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 2:22 pmPizza express Woking?Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 2:19 pmI still don't know where he was going with it!Burnden Paddock wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 2:08 pmWondered where you were going with that first sentence!Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 1:58 pmFook me, I was envying Prince Andrew then.
