On Monday we should have won, and lost. Hey ho!
May the bridges I burn light your way

Feckin awful. If my ticker gives out on me soon, I'll be blaming these buggers.

We struggled but got over the line. All that matters.
Got to keep going and hopefully regain some rhythm and form for a couple of players.

Only 57% possession according to the BBC. Theory holds...

Glad it worked. I'm aware that the wires are often ahead of iFollow so I try to post ASAP when something happens (goal, FT)nicholaldo wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 5:02 pmYou were about twenty seconds ahead of me. I can't tell you how good it felt to read that post just as I watch us lose possession yet again.

The effect their press is having on our ability to get out of our own half is only serving to highlight how sorely we miss a physical presence up front.
This is a big test of Evatt.
I posted this at half time and, to his credit, Evatt made changes and got us over the line.
We're absolutely scraping by and relying on more than our fair share of luck occasionally, but we've found a way to win when those around us haven't (thus far), which is ultimately what matters at this stage of the season. I just hope we have enough to keep it going.

So we're everything Harrogate aren't? Showed some grit there, determination, kept going, didn't let heads drop, wasn't vintage but we bagged three points, and not one word of praise...BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 5:03 pmWe struggled but got over the line. All that matters.

We were better second half than first and dug it out. What more is there to say? Superb that we got the result. Even second half I don’t think we played well but really at this stage it doesn’t matter we showed enough fight to turn it round. Which is great.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 5:12 pmSo we're everything Harrogate aren't? I’d lavish all my praise today on DJ who I thought was our man of the match and even first half looked a class above.

They can have it from me. Well done! I've spent long enough as a Whites supporter seeing the coin come down against us. Get in you beauties...Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 5:12 pmSo we're everything Harrogate aren't? George Thomasson was the difference for me. His introduction seemed to galvanise a few and like him, the others were snapping into the tackles. For a lad who was at Bamber Bridge last year, to be replacing the ineffective Madison and driving the side forward, was great to see.

Maddison can feck off now. We’ve done with this experiment.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 5:21 pmGeorge Thomasson was the difference for me. For me you can leave Madison off the team sheet entirely, not impressed at all. Great result though and a far better second half performance where we look far more balanced.
I feel reborn !!!! No more confussion

Ha. The left back. He has no business in league two for me. But was superb today.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 5:19 pmDJblu? I didn't have lack of things to say, parked in your corner, mate.
This is probably going to be a struggle all the way to game 46 and maybe beyond. I'd be delighted if we sealed it at game 44, but we don't feel like that sort of team and this doesn't feel like that sort of season.

He added some defensive solidity. I'd have been tempted to make that change before HT.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 5:21 pmGeorge Thomasson was the difference for me.
