We need some form of live zoom session for that last game in. My fingers can’t take it.

Intriguing idea. I'm trying to imagine that and to decide whether it would make it better or worse...officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 5:32 pmWe need some form of live zoom session for that last game in. My fingers can’t take it.

That tops off a good weekend of results. As I posted earlier, the clubs around us are doing their best to get us promoted.

Very encouraging comeback. Must admit at halftime I was annoyed and decided that on that performance I couldn't justify letting the future Mrs LE grout the bathroom alone, so I switched off. Was delighted to see the final score. Shows some guts. I think Arthur and Maddison have ruled themselves out as starters now. Hope Sarcevic is back soon.

Losing to Salford is still a sackable offence. JSL.
To DSB post no one near the top is better than 3 wins in 5...so we've only gone from "great" to "above average". COYWM.

Game in hand on Cambridge on Tuesday. Cheltenham look good for going up now, can't see three overtaking them, but we could get within a point of Cambridge. Salford have picked up a bit and need the win to get into the playoffs. Will be tough. Draw will be decent but hard to be too optimistic.

I meant he blew his chance last week. Consigned to bench at best after that and probably same for Maddison today.

Leaves 3 from Sarcevic Isgrove Delf and Dapo. Can't see Elbouzedi as more than a sub really.

I'm looking through these comments and scratching my head. There doesn't appear to be a single mention (apologies if I've missed it) of the one thing which actually won us the game today, and that is that we have an absolute class act up top in Eoin Doyle. The way upon which he pounced on their lad's mistake, carried it and turned it into a goal out of nothing was soooo far above anything else that this division has to offer was almost embarrassing.
Absolutely superb stuff.

Agreed on that. Our momentum might have carried us but if we are getting over the line it feels like a limp more than a surge.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 5:28 pmI didn't have lack of things to say, parked in your corner, mate.
This is probably going to be a struggle all the way to game 46 and maybe beyond. I'd be delighted if we sealed it at game 44, but we don't feel like that sort of team and this doesn't feel like that sort of season.

Doyle did what we signed him for and a lot of running besides. Bloke at t'other end did some important stuff too, including an incredible "I'm obstructed flap" just before they put it in the net.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 6:12 pmI'm looking through these comments and scratching my head. Thought William's and Lee worked hard defensively (whilst overrun first half) too.
