Good job 'nall

Great win, Evatt can have the rest of the season for me.

Coldest I've been watching the Whites since Stelios winner v derby in the noughties.
Preach, brother. What was that, Derby at home? 5aside win, second half adjacent to the pub.. Defended well. I love this team. They can do everything. Lovely lovely mix. The whites are on the up.

Four points clear, five games left.

Morecambe can only get 81pts, Tranmere 80 - and that’s if they suddenly find form they haven’t had for months.

Notwithstanding goal difference - and we’re better off there than the two teams chasing us - then we need 11pts from 5 games. WDWDW, or WWWWL.

And with every point they drop - and they’re dropping PLENTY - our job gets easier.

Enjoy, people. You’ve earned it.
So 3 wins so long as we don’t lose to Morecambe?
Don't lose to Morecambe and we're up.
Aim high. Win them all and we’ll win the league 😎

You can tell I'd been at the pub given you said it was against Derby

Oh, you coulda got away with it. Wasn't doubting that you hadn't spotted Derby! 😅 thought you were asking whether it was at home. Mind, I'd been in pub too, since 15:00, to test the wifi signal.

I thought about trying that on but, while I've never been to Derby, I doubt their ground is built downslope from "Winter Hill" :D the cold gives it away.

Well that were nice, weren't it..

As much as we can play some nice football and we counter well, our defence is just the absolute business. Williams and the Back 4 look almost impenetrable at times. Absolutely rock solid and despite them being camped in our half, there weren't really any heart in the mouth moments that I recall, other than Gilks (who does need replacing next season) juggling the ball and falling onto their striker

The last few weeks, when we've had a little less ball, Isgrove has been outstanding. Goals aside, he's come on so much and has built nice partnerships with Jones, Doyle, Lee and Williams.

I was absolutely delighted with last night. It's ours to throw away now
