Results looking really good for Carlisle. All but their own that is.

Re: Remaining fixtures
As it stands
* Exeter would be 4pts below the dots
* We would be 3pts behind Cheltenham

Re: Remaining fixtures
Grimsby have conceded an own goal and a red card - for Matete, the lad who scored against us and twice in the three games sense - and are still hanging on to their lead at Exeter. Stays like that, they're only 4pts off Scunny and Colchester. Can't say they haven't given it a damn good go

Re: Remaining fixtures
And there’s the collapse! Feel for grimsby there!
Re: Remaining fixtures
With Exeters ability to score its hardly surprising. Really unfortunate for Grimsby though. Hopefully Grimsby has done us a favour and tired them out sonewhat

Re: Remaining fixtures
Aye - it would relegate them as is.
Exeter would be 1pt off the playoffs and thus up for our game
However, they will have had to work very hard tonight, which is no bad thing for us

Re: Remaining fixtures
Can’t see Cheltenham not winning at least one of those games unfortunately for our fading title aspirations.

R FGR 0-2 Barrow
looks like the Vegan Villa may finally have achieved their months-long ambition to exit the playoffs

Re: Remaining fixtures
Still all to play for, but a playoff including Salford, Newport and Tranmere I do not like.

Re: Remaining fixtures
Cheltenham promoted, Carlisle confirmed to stay down, Grimsby confirmed to go down. Exeter still in with a playoff shout but 2pts behind new entrants Salford. Still a fascinating division.

Re: Remaining fixtures
Never really expected the title. Win our games and get promoted. What an almost miraculous turn round and a massive cause for celebration. That'll do for me.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 8:53 pmCan’t see Cheltenham not winning at least one of those games unfortunately for our fading title aspirations.

That chap barrow appointed just before they played at our place has done a right job!

Re: Remaining fixtures
We've only won one division in 33 years, but we can't say those years haven't been interesting. Even so, I'd like it...TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 9:00 pmNever really expected the title.
