Re: Remaining fixtures
Problem is I don't know what miller's all round game is. Dapo and isgrove are both poor with the final ball but excellent athletes who occupy defenders.
I fear that plating Miller away will have a similar effect to maddison's last performance. Big holes for Crawley to rip us apart. Not much use him scoring one if we're already 3 down.
I'd stick with it as is but be ready to make early changes and go for it if needed. Evatt has shown himself unafraid to do that to be fair.
George and MJ behind sarce should be balanced with Lee injured.

Yeah there is a risk in changing. I don’t rate Dapo that much really and I think he doesn’t do a very good job of looking after John either or utilising his overlaps. He is an outlet in certain games as he was early doors at Morecambe and Salford. So in a game where we sit a bit deeper and hit teams he’s not a bad outlet. But I feel in most other patterns of play he doesn’t offer much at all.LeverEnd wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 12:53 pmProblem is I don't know what miller's all round game is. As you say Miller is not exactly going to do the same job. The problem is when we are struggling changes mid way through seem to disrupt us more. I’d argue one of the big issues is Arthur either being out of favour, losing confidence or whatever because previously he was a great impact sub to almost guarantee he’d create something. But was poor Saturday. And frankly we’ve barely seen him for a while (it seemed an odd sub to me).
I just think you throw a surprise and have Miller and Doyle on in some combination and who knows they might bang a couple in early doors and give us breathing space. I’d pick a different sort of side with John on left of mid Isgrove on right and Tutte and MJ in the middle and two up top but I know Evatt won’t and can understand why at this stage. I still think a couple of changes might help us.
Re: Remaining fixtures
The line up we have has won a lot of points. Other lune ups didn't. If we're losing at half time give MJ a can of monster and chuck them all on!
Personally I'm just hoping Bradford are keen to end the season on a high.

That'd work for me. We win and it's not a problem either way.

Perhaps we'll lull Crawley into a false sense of security and then whip one in the box when they least expect it!

He also used his 'skill' to get rhe morecambe lad sent off, which was useful.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 8:57 pmthis is true.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 8:39 pmDapos ‘skill’ is winning free kicks. Which we are fecking terrible at doing something with!

Re: Remaining fixtures
Probably the best thread for this great wee stat I've just been alerted to: there's only one team in this entire bloody crackers division that hasn't been beaten both home and away this season by at least one club - ie haven't had someone "do the double" on them. I'll bob back in a bit to tell you who.

I’ll guess Bradford and I’ll also guess they were beaten at VP by Morecambe.

It's not bloody Tranmere is it?
Or Oldham? They've been erratic, to say the least, this year.
