Or Oldham? They've been erratic, to say the least, this year.
Morcambe have done the double on Oldham.
These are only the ones I've checked.
It's FGR I think.

Re: Remaining fixtures
Tranmere got cheeringly chinned by Cheltenham (0-3 H, 0-4 A) and also fell twice to Crawley and Walsall.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 1:32 pmIt's not bloody Tranmere is it?

Oldham's a good guess, with their reliably weird season, but lost both times to Morecambe (2-3 H and 3-4 A!), Orient, Stevenage and Mansfield, and might make that five with FGR this weekend.

It's not someone daft like relegated Grimsby is it?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 2:20 pmTranmere got cheeringly chinned by Cheltenham (0-3 H, 0-4 A) and also fell twice to Crawley and Walsall.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 1:32 pmIt's not bloody Tranmere is it?

Re: Remaining fixtures
Not that daft - les poissons lost H&A to Morecambe, Newport, FGR, Exeter, Bradford and Harrogate. Only one defeat in five against the top three, though (they play Cambridge on Saturday).

Re: Remaining fixtures
It would be fitting, but they've been doubled by Carlisle, Vale and, curiously, Grimsby

Was I right with FGR?

Re: Remaining fixtures
Sorry, missed it! Yes, you were very right - a team that’s barely won in months and seems determined to fall out the arse-end of the playoffs...

Re: Remaining fixtures
Wasn't Bowyer announced as essentially being "on loan" from Derby U-23s at the time? An odd state of affairs.

It was only ever going to be temporary and weirdly, they had him on some sort of Loan Agreement from Derby's academy... But still, they're a strange bunch over in Kersal

Tranmere have potted Keith Hill. Oh what a shame....Hill is probably up there with Owen Coyle for people I'd never welcome back to the stadium in any capacity. Horrible bloke.

Blimey, that’s a calculated gamble.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 9:46 amTranmere have potted Keith Hill. Oh what a shame....Hill is probably up there with Owen Coyle for people I'd never welcome back to the stadium in any capacity. Horrible bloke.
Does that make any Wanderers slightly less antagonistic toward Tranmere? (In the scheme of things, of course.) I must admit I hated the idea of him taking them up, but I dislike the club more than him.

Re: Remaining fixtures
Their fans hated him and I suspect this decision was made to try and save the play off home leg with some home fans allowed in. Imagine how toxic it would have been with a few thousand fake scousers in there if Tranmere went 1-0 down?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 9:48 amBlimey, that’s a calculated gamble.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 9:46 amTranmere have potted Keith Hill. I still don't want Tranmere to go up but this will of course slightly soften the blow if they do that we won't have to see his sneering preening face all over the TV.
I kind of like the idea of a fellow Boltonian managing us but my god that was severely tested with Keith. Perhaps the talk he was a Man Utd fan was true? Seems the type.

Genuinely don't even think about them. They're not important in the footballing world.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 9:48 amDoes that make any Wanderers slightly less antagonistic toward Tranmere?
