I don't know what can or will happen if ours is on but others aren't.

It'll be arse-covered in the regs. It's kinda force majeure, basically tough tits, but you imagine the ref would have to be pretty sure on the decision and not be led by a manager with something to gain.

It used to happen back in the 70s etc that even "important" games could be played out of sync. Then you've got Liverpool-Arsenal in 89, although I think that only affected those two and which of them would win the title. I would be surprised if the League rules had since been reworded to paint themselves into a corner – surely even the FL aren't that daft.

We'd presumably have heard about planned pitch inspections as well.

It was a 4 team group. The other side being Chile. What they did in that tournament and haven't repeated it since, was Algeria and Chile played earlier, so both the European sides knew that a 1-0 win for West Germany took them both through. They went ahead really early and then both sides just rolled it around between them.

I had a mild panic when I saw championship games on and thought I'd missed kick off.
Been painting walls to the sweet melodies of System of a Down.
Whoever is promoted will be among Sheffield Wednesday and Derby as it stands.
However I've been to both of those grounds so am looking forward to Harrogate and Barrow away
