No. Exeter get all their own fans subscriptions (£8.54) minus the first 500 which go to the home team. Bolton get 100% of their own fans subscriptions (£8.54).Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 5:29 pmSo if (as is hardly a ludicrous suggestion given the buildup) we got 20,000 viewers on Saturday, we earned £4,270 (500 x £8.54) and Exeter earned £166,530 (19,500 x £8.54)? You sure?boltonboris wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 4:40 pmThe Home team get the first 500 @ £8.54 per subscription and then the away team get £8.54 for every subscription thereafter

By Away Team, I meant Bolton at Crawley...Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 5:29 pmSo if (as is hardly a ludicrous suggestion given the buildup) we got 20,000 viewers on Saturday, we earned £4,270 (500 x £8.54) and Exeter earned £166,530 (19,500 x £8.54)? What was with the very odd Sharon meeting Mark Noble tweet?

It was certainly strange. The more I think about it the more I think it should just be taken at face value i.e. Mark Noble is pleased we got promoted.

Alan Nixon saying Andrew Gartside is leaving his role (Chief Operating Officer). Interesting.

Iles confirms it. Down to AG wanting more time with family etc. I suspect it’s been a very challenging role for running the business. But does leave us with a gap.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 6:34 pmAlan Nixon saying Andrew Gartside is leaving his role (Chief Operating Officer). Interesting.

Re: CLUB BUSINESS/SUNDRIES ETC.
Nixon: Bolton "Trying to get a new chief exec". Asked "Are they looking for a football face or a businessman/woman, with Scott Lindsay heading the football side" he replies that "That was only a short term appointment". Lindsay was appointed Chief Financial Officer in February.
As far as I can see we haven't had a CEO since Emma Beaugeard stepped down in June 2020. Andy Gartside had come in as Chief Operating Officer - not quite as exalted, basically the doer to the CEO's planner - in late 2019. He too has been rumoured since May to be leaving, but he's still listed on the site (as is Lindsay).
Worth noting while we're keeping up that in May we gained our third director, alongside Sharon and Mike James Nick Luckock was appointed to the board of directors of both FVWL Football Limited and FVWL Hotel Limited – somewhat overshadowed at the time by the Kamani/BooHoo tweet/rumour.
Feels like Luckock is another payer rather than a doer; that's not to belittle a man who helped underwrite the takeover, not at all, but it feels like he's a cheque-signer rather than a face about the club. When Beaugeard left it was touted as a Coviddy cost-saving measure, but with no CEO, apparently CFO Lindsay leaving soon and COO Gartside too, there's definitely scope for someone, and it could quietly be one of the most influential signings of the summer.

Re: CLUB BUSINESS/SUNDRIES ETC.
Yeah I suspect given the hotel and club that it isn’t an easy role to fill. Plenty of football chief execs around but we need someone who can run a more complex business and given one suspects our more frugal approach not the usual CEO with a massive operational team beneath them either.
Interesting that Lindsay is described as a short term appointment as at the time I’m sure it wasn’t pitched that way. The main reason Emma went was for family issues though I think the lack of immediate replacement was down to Covid issues.
Feels like the club and hotel may need operationally splitting to some extent as I feel finding someone to run both as a combined business given one assumes the more commercial focus Sharon will want on hotel side could be a challenge.

Just trying to think, did we still have any relatively 'biggies' on the wage bill for the year to the end of June 20?KeyserSoze wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 5:47 pmAccounts filed for ytd June 30 2020, and a note from Shaz.

Interesting to see those sorts of P&L numbers when you consider that not too long ago we were paying £1.56m PA in wages to Zat fecking Knight alone!
May the bridges I burn light your way
Re: CLUB BUSINESS/SUNDRIES ETC.
Did Zat Knight get paid a lot? I expect he took a pay cut when we were relegated though? Great note from Sharon as ever. Doesn't seem to be many surprises in these accounts. They've done a good job of minimising losses although the debt burden is probably higher than you'd want ideally - mostly on paper at least it seems manageable.KeyserSoze wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 5:47 pmAccounts filed for ytd June 30 2020, and a note from Shaz.

The £3.7M due in August (to pay off unsecured creditors from the admin deal) is what is required to take us out of embargo and EFL special measures - its somewhat troubling this hasn't been paid as if it isn't in August its an automatic 15 point penalty. But one assumes its in hand....
Anyhow over to Worthy for a far better analysis I guess....

Nixon reckons new CEO will be Neil Hart who was CEO at Burnley during pandemic. Seems to be well thought of there.

Hart appointment confirmed. Seems to have a great CV. Probably an outstanding one for the job we have in league one. Feels very much like a solid appointment for a crucial business side role.

I love the BW sign with the Manny Road verse down the side. I wonder where about in the ground this is, it certainly isn't in East Stand lower.
I feel reborn !!!! No more confussion
Re: CLUB BUSINESS/SUNDRIES ETC.
Seems like a signing very much intending on paving the way for bigger things.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Jul 05, 2021 9:41 amhttps://twitter.com/officialbwfc/status ... 41603?s=21

I sort of get the impression that he's been brought in to get us heading in the right direction and incentivise anyone else that's interested in backing the club.
