Re: Loan Watch
Sogndal are currently playing Fredrikstad and Darcy doesn’t appear to either be in the starting 11 or on the bench. These loans are going well aren’t they...
In other news Matty Alexander played 90 mins for Lancaster City against Basford United, losing 1-0.
Crawford played 85’ as St Johnstone lost 2-1 v Rangers. No idea how he played.
I guess Luke Hutchinson is still recovering from the nasty knock he got a couple of weeks ago, but he was in the latest Wanderers training session video from Friday.
Reiss Greenidge has fallen off the face of the earth.

Re: Loan Watch
They might just be rolling back the content updates and the operating system gotten in a tis. I'm sure they'll get some games when the content has been sorted
Re: Loan Watch
A couple of our non-league loanees were in action last night.
Matty Alexander started again for Lancaster in a 2-2 draw with Morpeth.
Luke Hutchinson was on the bench for Atherton as they lost 1-0 Whitby. He was also on the bench for our reserves vs Accrington yesterday. Hopefully he's ready to start again soon.
Jay Fitzmartin started for Stalybridge as they beat Scarborough 3-0 and got all 3 assists on what was his 19th birthday.

No minutes for either Politic or Darcy again this weekend. Darcy wasn't even named as a substitute.

Re: Loan Watch
Starting to wish politic had stuck around to be on our bench!
Re: Loan Watch
These loans are really not working out so far, eh?
It's a shame things aren't happening for Darcy and Politic, as they were/are the last hopes for a generation of our youth players. I hope and expect that things are going on behind the scenes to ensure we do better with the next crop of lads coming through.

Re: Loan Watch
When Darcy joined Sogndal their manager on their official website said that due to the situation where he'd been in isolation and back and forth between the countries he would need 'several weeks of training before he would be considered for their first team'.
Not sure I'd be panicking about that one at this stage given that.

Re: Loan Watch
Reports that Darcy is injured. Plus some “calm down” quotes from the Vale boss on Politic.

Apparently Darcy played the second half and did well. According to Marc Iles. Good stuff.

Re: Loan Watch
Out of interest, is there an accepted understanding as to what standard the Norwegian second tier is?
Or, for example, what it's English equivalent might be?

I suspect you might garner a more accurate comparison by enquiring as to its Scottish equivalent.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 9:18 pmOut of interest, is there an accepted understanding as to what standard the Norwegian second tier is?
