Honestly, this is a really bad Portsmouth side and there will be none of the previous excuses if we lose this one.

And there is the ever present comical defending. Sides can be poor against us because we don’t need them to be good to concede.

Should be 2-0 to them.

Is Evatt ever going to sort out our inability to defend?

Not with a winger at fullback and a goalkeeping like that, no.

Might be better if the players sorted it out...

Once teams know that you are soft at the back they are happy to just stay in games and wait.

This is a problem. A massive problem. Soft at the back and struggling up top is a recipe for relegation.

And it's 1-0 them right off... :( Was that Dixon's fault?
Oh, if you look at some of the shite on Twitter now, Tango, there's a row going on between two factions - blame Isgrove and blame Dixon.

I'm not up for blaming either of them, to be honest!

Plenty of blame to go around for that one.

We don't deserve a point this half but did in the first. Need a bit of luck.

Keeper shouldn’t be letting that in but as an 11 we are mentally and physically too soft. We don’t have the mentality of ‘you aren’t scoring against us today’.

Nor do we have a striker who really believes he is going to score in any given game.

Trouble is, some stuff in this game is genuinely better than the last 4. We are just crap in key areas.

Nothing on the bench. Brockbank warming up whilst we're 1-0 in the 70th. Meanwhile Politic is on loan elsewhere. Sure he isn't the finished product, but he is an outlet.

Think a RB is needed in Jan. That and a defensive coach.

So turgid at the back.

Kachuga off. Brocky on. Push Lloyd further up.

Well, that's good. Doesn't fit the narrative, but it's good to hear.

See, he can't just make himself two inches taller than he actually is.

Can we defer? I've only seen it on my phone so let me see it 'proper', then you, me and The Ghost might have a different conversation.

And maybe a bit of time spent on set pieces too.

Striker doesn’t get enough supply. Nor is he a create chances yourself type. So either we need one of the latter or we need better earlier supply. But defensively the issues are utterly embarrassing and against a fairly impotent Portsmouth we’ve still conspired to help them to a goal.
