If you were scoring players out of 10 I’m not sure Thomason has earned a 1. He cannot play Saturday. If Sheehan and MJ are out lord knows what we do. But this is a crisis of our own making. Needs rectifying in January and dare I say we might be desperate enough now to need to scour the free market for midfielders. Cos Lee can’t really be expected to play either week in week out.

I’ll give you Johnston, but if you think Santos can’t defend then you have no fecking idea what you’re talking about.

He’s better than Johnston. But he’s struggled this season. I have no idea what he was doing for their second goal. And I don’t think he knows either. I’d give him some benefit of the doubt in that he has no partner. But balls into the box in open play are a huge problem for him. If someone offered money for him I’d take it personally.
