'tis the season
It's not just Evatt with a shopping list to tick off, so Wanderers are punting their Christmas range – https://www.bwfcdirect.co.uk/christmas/christmas/ – and for some reason, this pic of Izzy in a Xmas jumper pretending to have a snowball fight has cheered me right up.

The fact there's no woolly mammoth with a castle on its back is deeply upsetting to me.

Haha. We're all in that 'difficult-to-buy-for' age bracket now, Tango.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 1:51 pmWife was looking over my shoulder with a gleam in her eye as I read this thread...Oh nooooo
As Sean Lock so accurately put it - simply telling the Mrs that you're just staying up a little longer to watch the end of the News one evening, will land you a copy of Huw Edwards' autobiography in your Christmas stocking. .

Too true Bruce. Mind you, we'd be easy to buy for if folk wold ask us what we want (book titles etc) instead of "surprising" us. My family know I like Jane Austen's work; She only wrote six major novels but so far I've got half-a-dozen paperbacks, an Omnibus edition three inches thick, a boxed set, a pocket edition a Jane Austen mug and an invitation to a ball. In edition, I know the stories so well I could give lectures on them.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 2:36 pmHaha.
