This ref is clean off his tits on Meth.

Clear free kick to Fleetwood and then gives a goal kick to Fleetwood after their defender handles the ball out of play.

With young George: one ping does not a Pirlo make. The simple 6-yard stuff is sometimes, just, bad.

I really hope Mitchell Henry gets a goal tonight.

Ball goes behind in the box off a Fleetwood arm so the ref gives a goal kick.

Henry and Tweedley coming on, which is nice, but we also need to stay solid.

Dapo and Xav off.

He is absolutely tiny. Has to be the smallest footballer we’ve ever had!

This change to a back 4 is putting us under pressure. Baptiste is getting twisted inside and out on the right.

We’ve completely switched off here. Baps looks dead and Gordon’s having a nightmare.

Twitchy bum time for Bolton. England women are now 20-0 up against Latvia.

We have been shite most of this game. I suspect we’ve not wanted to over-exert ourselves, but Fleetwood would be right to feel hard done by if we hold on.

Tomo anchoring midfield behind Pettifer and Conway, with Henry right and Delf left. Not sure if that’s a moment for pride, fear or both.

Agree with this.

Mitchell Henry is like a terrier so I suspect he may keep us going in this game with his pressing alone. The young lads have acquitted themselves quite well. Suspect a draw would be deserved here, suspect we've slightly just edged it. Certainly nothing making me think it should be as clear cut as I would've liked to have seen.

Meh, doubt Evatt would be mithered either way.

Might stop our fans with ridiculous expectations from assuming an easy game a week Tuesday.

Trying to find something from this performance.

Tell you what, none of our kids are scared of the ball. Technically brave.

Definitely fear. I suspect pride would kick in if we had other options available and we weren't devastated by injury.

Was really good on that far side.

Only really worried when Baptiste had it...

and he's just put one out for a throw-in.

I suspect the one thing that they can take from that performance is no injuries and hopefully a bit of rest for our players.

97 minutes of drab football. They did what they came to do and just get through to the next round. Happy with that, on to the next round.
