Craig Charles and Dian Fossey both start.

Football is a funny business.

Moving on from today's crap, I hope we win and play well. I'm genuinely excited to see both our new signings, regardless of anything else.

Back four of Fossey, Santos, Johnston and John says a lot.

The only downside now to naming such a strong line-up is if we don't go and win it tonight.
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:

You're talking like we're on a bad run and in the middle of fitness and PR crises. We'll shit 'em.

First teamsheet since October not to feature Pettifer or Henry (or both)

And a pretty poor run of form! I want the win to get back to winning ways so to speak. They’ve made 8 changes according to Iles.

Blimey some stat that

Must admit to being slightly disappointed that Pettifer hasn’t made the bench to maybe get some garbage time minutes. Admittedly based on not much, I think he has something about him and along with Luke Hutchinson is the most likely out of the current crop of youngsters to make it here in my opinion.

Really excited to see the new additions.

Iles saying that we look to be 4-3-3. Can anyone confirm as I thought with that line-up we'd be 4-2-3-1?

There's not really much difference between them. Two deeper mids with one more advanced, two wide players, one striker.

Lots of pointless possession with no cutting edge. Shambolic at the back.

Bit like large parts of the season.

Can we all agree that being "The University of Bolton Stadium" is far, far better than being the "Suit Direct Stadium"? Those poor buggers. Bet the seats are comfy, though.

Pettifer looked a bit try hard whenever i've seen him. I'd agree that I think it's a bit unfortunate he's not been given the closing minutes of a football match but I don't think he'd be on the bench if our main players were fit and ready.

There are no real standouts that have made me immediately think they will make it (not that i'm a good judge). There's a few that have stood out that have already got game time but i'm not classing them as youth teamers, i'm thinking along the lines of Pettifer / Henry / Conway / Tweedley, etc.

The main one to have stood out was Lockett but he got that injury and that's made me think that might cause an issue.

Some shocking defending tonight but Fossey is looking likely. Hopefully another Kioso style player.

Delf looking good again. Today may be his day.
