(Early) October, in fact!
If we were being v generous we could say the next two (Wigan and Plymouth) had Brocky starting. After that it was a) no more Antoni and b) no more right back. First Isgrove, then Liam (with a one game Baps interlude against tonight's opponents).

All that matters to the football club is the result now.

We'll shit 'em, with a dazzling display 3-0, and all will say "I told you we didn't need defenders!"

What "grace period"? He got us promoted and we're currently above the relegation zone. If he needs a grace period he's not called on it yet.

I mean it’s the sharp end of the season with the relegation shark opening it’s jaws beneath us. Every single game is only about the result. Playing well is irrelevant. It’s points that matter now. Points only. Results only. If we play badly and win who cares…find a way to win is what good teams and managers do and we are now squarely needing to do that.GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 6:16 pmWhat "grace period"? I mostly, sort of agree. End of the day, we just need points. However, the more we play badly the less likely we are to win.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 6:39 pmI mean it’s the sharp end of the season with the relegation shark opening it’s jaws beneath us. Performances do matter, but they won't let us stay in the league just for pretty passing. It's not a social club.

We've put the more physical lads (Baka and Aimson) in. Makes sense.

Aye, 45 mins in the 2-2 reserve game, replaced by Jones too.

We're halfway through you panic fanny. It'll be reet. Usually the best way to get points is performances.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 6:39 pmI mean it’s the sharp end of the season with the relegation shark opening it’s jaws beneath us. XI looks ok but there's not a lot on the bench!
Assume Kachunga injured from last week, and presumably Xav picked up a knock too.

Biggest issue will be Baka making 90 minutes.

Aye, Lee only just back after a decent time out with the Rona too. Delf and Ronan maybe? Who knows. Hopefully we'll be 3-0 up by then and it won't matter.

Green shoots - we'd be 10% of the way to 30 goals.
