66-7 unbelievable. Jimmy and Potts, 3 a-piece.

Root out for 11, just as I thought he'd have a field day. 96-3, in reply to 132.
Edit. Make that 96-4. Must be a bowlers' wicket.

We have the best attack in the world in English conditions.
We have the worst batting lineup in the world too.
Nowts changed there.

Really ?; I'd probably make that in England. Just hope Broady and Jimmy make the difference.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Jun 02, 2022 7:00 pmWe have the best attack in the world in English conditions.

In English conditions our bowling is absolutely top notch.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Thu Jun 02, 2022 7:12 pmReally ?; I'd probably make that in England. Just hope Broady and Jimmy make the difference.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Jun 02, 2022 7:00 pmWe have the best attack in the world in English conditions.

Aye. But New Zealand conditions are pretty close to England's I think...and their top notch batting side only got to 132..BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Jun 02, 2022 7:20 pmIn English conditions our bowling is absolutely top notch.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Thu Jun 02, 2022 7:12 pmReally ?; I'd probably make that in England. I think there was really good bowling from both sides they got line and length pretty spot on. But there's nothing dangerous in the pitch and I think the batting techniques have been pretty poor.

Parky has just played as good a straight drive as you'll see...It's going to be an interesting set of second innings...

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
So, a one innings each Test then. First innings nullified each other, so it's from now on.

Aware that this may be cricketing heresey, I do wonder whether it's well beyond time to engineer the slope out of Lords....

This is looking like a better toss to win than it did yesterday. Kudos.

End of the day to beat England most of the time all you need is one half decent partnership. In either innings. And that’s it. Done.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 5:17 pmThis is looking like a better toss to win than it did yesterday. Kudos.

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
Such pessimism. Not done yet, but better hope our batsmen can shine; even Williamson has had a shocker in both innings.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 6:21 pmEnd of the day to beat England most of the time all you need is one half decent partnership.
