So we'll have Adeboyeko, Jerome, Kachunga, Charles and Bod all fighting for the right to hit the onion sack...looking good. :D

Question, Insane.

Given that Jerome is not cup-tied. Are you happy, right this second, with that? Do you think he helps us in trying to win the cup, whose financial value you already outlined?

I’m happy with Jerome. But it’s not necessary to completely change opinion on events. Sometimes you can say ‘look 18 months for a 36 year old is a bit iffy’. It was yesterday and still is today.

I like the idea much better than Eaves and he seems a good bloke and probably improves us. 18 months does seem very risky though.
Seems wise to adjust your opinion to new information, though.

If it's purely a playing deal I will reserve judgement, but feel it's iffy. At this point it doesn't seem like that's the long term plan and that seems worth taking into account.

Reality forming opinions, rather than the other way around, and all that.
He has a playing contract. Anyway I’m happy with him as a player IF he still has the legs.

I’m not entirely sure about committing to him in the squad next season before we’ve seen him but it’s good for now.

I'm a bit disappointed to lose Aimson, but if we can get a bit of money for him given his contract is up in summer, then it makes good business sense.

Oh yes I think for a end of January emergency option he’s a good one.

And it’s good he can play in the cup game. That does offer considerable relief. Definitely need to try and ensure he’s fit for that.

I haven’t seen him play this year. So I’ve no idea if he still has the legs. As the player he was a year or two ago - great. Are you asking me to stake an opinion on him this year? Cos I’ve not seen him.

Surprise, given his form for us. That goal-line clearance a couple of weeks ago was sensational. I'd have kept him.

To shift focus, I suppose our next question is "Who hasn't travelled with the squad?"

18 months is a bit of a gamble, but he's better than the sort of older statesman I thought we'd be in for. It's also not a video game, he's not going to go from "up to it" in Mid-May to useless in August.

Think that's probably the death knell for JDB though. And maybe makes Nldundlu in the summer more division and how-he-does dependent (assuming we get Ade as well).

If they're the two I'm happy with where we are up top.

I like Aimson too, but he has his limitations and tough to see him and the captain playing regularly in the same side. I don't mind him going as long as we replace him with a centre back.

If Sads goes I'd be nervous without another body in as well. Either side WB would be fine.

Add a midfielder in and I might start to get excited!

Offish site confirms he's eligible for tomorrow. Also, Evatt:
Number one, he is still fit for purpose and able to do the job. And number two, the additional piece he brings is he can really help the players in terms of knowledge, experience and know-how. He’s played at the top level, in Europe and played 50-odd times in the Championship in the last two years.

People shouldn’t be mis-guided by his age. His physical data is still unbelievable and he’s in incredible shape. We’re signing him because we think he can have an effect on the team and help us. And we also need some more experience in the dressing room – somebody the younger players can learn from and bounce off and understand the pressures of playing in big games and what it takes to win big games.

Cam is all those things. We’ve got some very good forward players in the building and he will be a shining example to all of those.

Just trying to keep up...we've lost a LW and a striker for 2 strikers. Added a 10 and a LWB. In the absolute shitstorm whilst this has been unfolding, we've had results that no one would be too surprised at, had no one left. That about it so far?

I doubt if we had to pay a fee the contract would've been 18 months.

It's a risk like all others if he gets injured. JDB is out of contract in summer so if he isn't fit then he's not getting a new contract and I'm sure Jerome will fit in as his replacement.

I think that translates to marquee signing. If they have him on a blue bus with ice cream and jelly then I think I might have hit peak life.
