JCH has been listed because he's going into his last year, their standard policy.
Pie in the sky for me. No way he's not getting Champo offers. Would be nice but he's not coming here.

Suspect you might be right there.
However, as Worthy showed with his screen grab, Vik has one of the best conversion rates in English football; so it's about figuring out how to get him the ball.
We've bet 600k we can do that. Hopefully Markham et al have done their jobs well.

More details – and names – from PETERBOROUGH.
.
.
Jonson Clarke-Harris, the joint-leading scorer in League One this season, has been transfer-listed by Peterborough. He is one of nine players made available for sale, with the club following their policy of listing those in the final year of their contracts.
Clarke-Harris is joined on the transfer list by goalkeeper Christy Pym, defenders Frankie Kent, Josh Knight, Joe Tomlinson and Dan Butler and midfielders Oliver Norburn, Jeando Fuchs and Ben Thompson.
Defenders Ben Mensah and Nathan Thompson have been released. Former captain Thompson, 32, leaves Posh after four seasons, having been part of the squad that won promotion to the Championship in 2020-21.
Meanwhile, long-serving right-sided player Joe Ward has been offered a new three-year contract.
Peterborough have announced the news less than 24 hours after Darren Ferguson agreed a new three-year contract - after returning to the club for a fourth spell in charge in January.

I replaced the word "chart" with "screen grab" and now I feel like I've made a fatal error. Mia maxima culpa.

"Is it a table or a chart? I'll just put screen grab."
For all the crap I've said on this forum, I didn't expect that to be the one that got me killed.

I thought I had tinnitus for a second there, but it's Hannah Waddingham with a bloody big bell.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 1:57 pmThat's part of the art. Bury them with the long ball they weren't expecting! None of this tap it about where they're watching and can get set in advance. Quite topical, non?

We wasted 600k on a lemon with no first touch, so what's the point anyway?
We'll do an MK Dons next season.

The trouble is this season alone is doing some very heavy lifting for Vic and mainly the first half of it.GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 1:08 pmSuspect you might be right there.

We are comparing that to someone who has a LOT of goals across multiple seasons, different teams and hit double figures in the championship.
If it was a question of who is more likely to hit 20 goals next season we’d have to say JCH because he has a track record.
I see the argument that clearly Vic here has not had close to enough created for him but his record doesn’t just span here.
I don’t think it’s an either or anyway. We need 4 strikers, and I’m not really counting Jerome. JCH would be a real addition especially as he’s left footed.
Probably too expensive and one thing he doesn’t fill is that sort of drop in and make play happen striker which I do think would be a good get. JDB can do that but it’s probably not his best aspect.

If you offered JCH to Evatt he's snap your hand off. But, like you say, it's about money. Posh paid £1m plus add ons for JCH and then improved him. So even before they got hold of him he was twice as expensive as Vik (when you factor in the add ons).BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 2:36 pmThe trouble is this season alone is doing some very heavy lifting for Vic and mainly the first half of it.

Maybe with this new cash influx we can afford a couple of finished articles, but as things stand I've no idea.
