Jerome and Gomes coming on. Dempsey and Charles to come off I guess.

Decent work from both players.

Interested to see what CMG has to offer. Less so with Jerome, but i'm hoping he comes good.

8 mins extra time. Gonna be interesting how high we can go this season. Gonna be a running joke, at least until it becomes the new norm.

Some strange bookings in this match, same for free kicks. Refs had a relatively decent game for the most part.

3-0 win. Text book stuff for Bolton. More of the same on Tuesday please.

Professional performance with a clean sheet.

Some good performances in that.

Last time we won on the opening day, we got relegated and then relegated again

We'll have none of that talk :spank:

Lovely sunny day out in Ipswich with The Mighty Flanners. I remember being very impressed with Bradley (and angry with our set-piece concession), but I don't remember winning

Excellent start. The team looked very settled, knew how Evatt wanted to play and played well.

Positives:
- Both wing-backs played well and were a threat unlike last year where the threat was only from the right
- Scored 2 from set-plays. Hats off to the coaching team for finally seeing the importance of them
- Sheehan ... mastered that QB role. Other teams will now try to shut this down as he dictated the game
- We will not miss Traff and Conner this season as their replacements are up to it
- Iredale and Santos played really strong
- Dempsey is class
- That pass from Thomasson leading to the 3rd was world class
- Our bench is strong

Negatives:
- Charles need a few games to get back to his best

Looking forward to a good season.

Anyone know why we're behind Exeter in the league table?

I completely blanked that and counted Wycombe as the first one…

Best opening day victory by us for 12 years, which kickstarted a season in which we were also relegated.

Look I’m going to say it. There is no chance we will be relegated. None whatsoever.

Away goals, perhaps. Although when I were a lad no league tables were published until three games in.
