Looks like Jerome's unlucky to still be on the bench. I suspect Charles is being given some extra time to get the hattrick.
I think at this point we're deserving of a fourth given the quality of chances we've put in.

Yay Barnsley have conceded meaning its 1-1 over there. As it stands we are top of the league!

Goes to show what I know about subs honestly thought our wingbacks would be getting a rest.

Decent performance. Impressive again how dominant we are.
Compare that to last seasons performance and its a notable change. Yes, they've not got May or N'lundulu like last season, but Cheltenham have not even looked close to matching our performance level. Brilliant stuff lads.

That was superb. I think they're in real trouble, but Lincoln won 3-0 against Wycombe today so they clearly aren't terrible.
Massive gulf in quality today, and we looked so fit and strong and hungry, bodes really well for those sort of games throughout the season.
We're looking in really good nick, I'd still love another RWB though.

TBF, them having N"lundulu wouldn't have been too worrying...Mar wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 4:59 pmDecent performance. Impressive again how dominant we are.

I said it due to his performance last season against us. Clearly a game changer and caused us a lot of problems.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 5:15 pmTBF, them having N"lundulu wouldn't have been too worrying...Mar wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 4:59 pmDecent performance. Cracking result, and a very encouraging start to the season.
Sounds like that man Vic was top notch today, which should hopefully silence a few of the doubters.

Yeah lovely performance. Little greedy on one occasion which would've given him an extra assist but aside from that a very good performance.

Aye, my overriding memory of the night was "how could we live without one of them!"Mar wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 5:30 pmI said it due to his performance last season against us. Just heading back up the M6. Think that first half was the best I've seen us away from home under Evatt. Just the right mix of control and aggressive attacking. Some real stand out performances. Great start

Complete control today. Never had to break sweat. Won’t always be like this but that’s +3 on last years results now.

Dominant win. Loved the way Ade played. He was impressive and linked the team up well as the point person up front. Iredale was strong and solid too. Charles looks like he will score another 20 this season. Can we go the season unbeaten?

Some of the one touch stuff towards the end was really good.

Nice to see a lot of people on social media finally "get it" over Adeboyejo.
We were very good generally. There's a long way to go, but we've started quickly. That was the biggest issue for us.
The next 4 league games are all big tests. We have to win all our home games. Then we have Burton away to see whether we can deal with those kinds of games now and Derby after a big cup tie to really tax our depth.

I've only seen the highlight so there's not much I can really mention, however I'm pleased to see we now have quite a bit of height and strength about us.
There aren't many physically small teams who prosper in the leagues above - physicality is one of the most notable differences between the top two tiers and two lower tiers in my opinion.

Five of our next six games are at home. A real chance to show dominance and charge forth.

People can’t get what hasn’t been shown before though. Today Adeboyejo completely bossed their defence and left Dion the space to play it. It was easily his best performance for us and by my money inspite of not scoring he was man of the match tied with Dempsey.

It's been obvious since he arrived that he's a very good player.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 10:26 pmPeople can’t get what hasn’t been shown before though.
