Gonna be an interesting month. We're sitting top of the league, ready to come up against the next best performing team (Wigan) in a local derby, followed by the worst performing team (Burton), followed by opposition a league head who are sat at the bottom of the table a league above us and then a middling Derby team.
Quite promising so far, would be good to upset Wigan's resurgence.

AdeboyeGOAL more like
Curious game - we've had 4 efforts on target and scored 3 of them, while Fleetwood have looked capable of cutting us open
Glad for Ade, chance to give Big Dan a longish run second half, and maybe rest those wingbacks
JDC looks like a good signing. Still need another RWB though unless he is actually a machine. We were lucky to have one of those at RWB last season, have we found another perpetual motion machine?

Maghoma's looking good in midfield. Less so shooting wise. Movement has been great, just needs to better composure to get the best out of him. Got an assist to his name so definitely performing well.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 8:46 pmExcellent centre-forward's instincts from Adeboyejo.
How's Maghoma looking?

I like the way he chases it down - I expected slightly better on the ball but maybe he's a little rusty. For his Big Chance you could tell he really didn't fancy his left, which is a bugbear of mine with the young'unsofficer_dibble wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 8:48 pmLike the look of Maghoma! Another one who snaps at the heels and gives the opposition no time on the ball.

I've been impressed with Fleetwood offensively.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 8:48 pmAdeboyeGOAL more like

I suspect it's not going to be long till Charles and Thomason are taken off to avoid a second yellow. CMG and N'lundulu definitely good enough to have an impact today.

I'd like to see us be ruthless now. They have attacked well and we need to stay on it. If we can get an early 4th it'll kill them and then we can really put them to the sword.
If they make it 3-1 they will push hard.

Don't forget Stevenage. I'm a little perturbed to see a Steve Evans side starting a season so well. But plenty of time yet.

We're also on course for 138 points, which would render the 138 GD as "pretty inconsequential" as our nearest rivals could only get 132!KeyserSoze wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 8:39 pmOn course for +138 goal difference which should hopefully help us if it gets tight for promotion.

Not forgetting Stevenage, but we play them in October. It'll be interesting to see if they can maintain that momentum. Steve Evans has got that marmite quality about him, looks like its working at the moment.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 8:54 pmDon't forget Stevenage. Our mate Owen Moxon equalises for Carlisle.

Not overly keen on the quality of refereeing today.
Not terrible, but doesn't overly feel like we've had a decent rub of the green when it comes to 50/50 decisions. I don't remember us getting a free kick in their half?

Fleetwood unlucky not to have scored here. Definitely on top !
Re: North by North West..Bolton v Fleetwood Tues 15th Aug 7-45.
Some complacency sinking in with that change. Morley not quick enough to get out to snuff out the threat.
Fleetwood should have scored there with Earl. We're fortunate not to have conceded.
Lads need to wake up, here goes.

Not sure that was offside!

Extremely questionable offside call on Vic there.

Did Derek just call an offside from a corner?
