Either he's mithered or we don't think there's 90 minutes in Bod. Could still have put CMG up front. Or Ade, who could do with a goal.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 4:39 pmNot seeing much sense in risking Charles when we're three in front? .Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 4:32 pmBut no! Charles for Bod. Actually I guess we have one more "substitution event" as Toal came on at HT.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 4:32 pmI'd actually sub Randell for Matheson, and switch Geth over. Save Randy's legs.
But overall, I can't complain too much about his selection and subs today.

If he scores then it bumps his transfer value upTANGODANCER wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 4:39 pmNot seeing much sense in risking Charles when we're three in front? .Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 4:32 pmBut no! Dion has his penalty (won by Matheson) saved.

Solihull down to 10 men. Doesn't matter really at this stage.

That'll do. Great result and no fresh injury concerns, fours goals and a clean sheet.

Nice to see some of the defenders getting on the scoresheet too. Santos and Forrester.sonicthewhite wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 4:59 pmThat'll do. Great result and no fresh injury concerns, fours goals and a clean sheet.
The following are yet to get off the mark for the season:
The GK's: Baxter and Coleman
The surprise inclusion: Sam Inwood
The unexpected: Dempsey, Jerome
Given Dempsey got 6 goals last season, i'm surprised he's not off the mark yet. He certainly warrants a goal.
Jerome on the other hand looked like he was coming close but got brought down for a penalty.
Hopefully they'll score soon. Always nice to get goals spread throughout the team.

Interesting way of looking at it. JDC too - his effort against Derby went down as an oggie.

Always nice to see these games through professionally as we did today. Can’t really win in these games since everyone expects it and to lose is a poor do.
But can’t do much more than today. Professional throughout. Never lacked intensity apart from maybe the first 10 but got ourselves going.
Hard to judge much because we were physically, mentally and technically superior all over but I’d not say anyone had a bad game.
A few looked very good indeed and hopefully can offer answers when we need them. Bod had a very good game even without scoring so TD should be pleased. Maghoma was class and Iredale was very good.
