That wasn’t a foul on badvarson then, he just fecked it up.

Shocking refereeing there. Looked a clear foul on JDB. Feels like the referee's playing against us here.

We’ve dropped off a lot this half, and I would suggest the absence of Santos may have a bit to do with that.

That was NOT good defending from Iredale

This is tough viewing. We're second to everything. Feels like we're just holding on and playing for penalties now,

They are bullying this defence. Evatt must see this - we need one more big imposing sort at centre half because this is too fragile - imagine this week in week out. Sides would have a field day against it - especially the more direct ones.

Doesn't feel like good defending from the lot of them. Feels like we've been run ragged here rather than controlling the game.
Get the impression a lot of that is to do with not being able to keep the ball up the top end of the pitch.
Wave after wave of Blackpool attacks.
Rushed chances with that Thomo effort.

Nice that GT trusted his right foot there. Nice, but wrong.

Beginning to wonder if Bod is being kept on to take a penalty.

Have we been given a free kick in their half at all yet?
Re: Seconds out, Round Four. V Blackpool away Tues, 30th Jan. 7-0'clock.
This is piss poor.

There was a match in the last fortnight that got me thinking about the ref that just seemed to be giving one sided decisions all game. Couldn't remember who it was, but getting the impression this may be the guy. Feels very one sided, and thats even with two disallowed goals for the opposition.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 8:43 pmBeginning to wonder if Bod is being kept on to take a penalty.

So unnecessary Thommo. Stay on your feet.

I wouldn't have been surprised if the ref would've shown a red there. Same area of the pitch where there was the Charles furore. Terrible challenge.

The problem second half is very simple. Without santos we’ve had to drop deeper as we can’t reliably win headers or challenges higher up the pitch. As we’ve dropped deeper it’s left our midfield running huge spaces. We can’t hold it up top either but main issue is how deep we’ve had to go to accommodate a small back three that can’t dominate their opponents higher up the pitch.

Certainly don't fancy penalties.
