Insano. Why can't you just leave it as you think Evatt is a crap manager and you think Shazza is wrong to back him? Instead, you have to get the Big Book of Daily Mail Adjectives out

Nice to see Evatt was forced to walk off to a chorus of ‘we want Evatt out’. Bolton fans are excellent. About the only thing that is.

Evatt's post match comments reflecting that he doesn't think he's getting anything wrong.

Yep. That's the spirit. Really "nice" to see. Just what I've always wanted at our club. We must be the envy of league 1....BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 6:14 pmNice to see Evatt was forced to walk off to a chorus of ‘we want Evatt out’. Bolton fans are excellent. I mean it’s not the fans fault the owner is failing is it? They can only do what they do. I mean let’s be honest, at most clubs the fans would have been on the back of the manager way way earlier. The fact is he’s been given not just leeway, but extraordinary leeway. Beyond anything you can normally expect in the game.dave the minion wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 6:55 pmYep. That's the spirit. And whilst I don’t want to see managers failing here and owners failing to do what’s necessary like the 80’s it is the fans venting their spleen who will keep this club afloat. If it is to be kept afloat.

According to Evatt we are "hoping" Toal hasn't redone his hamstring.
So Toal has redone his hamstring.

The first time he did it was just after Amorim won his first couple at Utd doing it.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 4:23 pmDid he see someone do it on MOTD?GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 4:22 pmDion's near post run there about 10 seconds too late.
If we are playing for cut-backs and crosses why are Williams and Tutu on their opposite flanks?
I get that in theory it's better shooting against a packed box, but we're not playing patterns to get them shots.
And I doubt it's a coincidence this shape change happened after England played it...

I mean Amorim did well at Sporting (who have, I note, already sacked his successor) and Sir Gareth is a fine man-manager but let’s face it, in terms of tactical titans we’re dropping down the divisions from aping Guardiola…

Here's a genuine question ; What exactly do the trainers/boss etc, have the Whites doing in training that's one iota of difference week to week? Is there ever a moment when we can say, "Oh, that's new, somebody's been practising, shooting, corners, free-kicks etc, and more-so in method or game plan?. It's all so very predictable that teams we should be winning against are chewing us up weekly.
The hot spot is between the opponents goal posts, not in how much possession we have in our half or playing tippy-tappy near the corner flags theirs or ours. Shooting into a packed box has already been mentioned, but as an option not a religion, which leads to the fact that when we do get chances we handle them so amateurishly, even clumsily, particularly set pieces.
So, back to the question; we have enough players, so how do we spend our training time? Food , vacations, darts, table tennis and computer games are not allowed as answers, and every employed person has families, so Quo Vadis (means wither goest thou) and what doth thou do? . Best answer get to wave a flag next game..

Evatt getting very close to saying that we were winning the game apart from the scoreline.

A team making the play offs is going to win the odd difficult away game. Right now I can't make a case for us picking anything up at Wrexham, Blackpool, Rotherham, Wigan Huddersfield etc. The futility of watching our season, hopes and faith slowly go down the drain is maddening.
