In Iles' latest article he has Schumacher quoted as saying he wants more "personalities", which would seem to confirm he's referring to the type of person rather than mere numbers.

Whether he means leaders or "good in the dressing room" types, or both, I suppose we'll soon find out.

Not sure he didn't actually say "characters," but it certainly came across as "type of person." Not difficult last season to see us go flat then flatter, with shruggy shoulders and team mates not looking each other in the eye

To be fair, the quotes will almost certainly be from different interviews.

But yeah, I couldn't agree more and I doubt there's anyone connected to the club who wouldn't feel the same. It's a huge priority so I'm glad it's been recognised.

Good question. The published line-ups for each half didn't indicate a captain and there's no reference in the club's match report.

My hunch and it’s no more than a hunch is that we looked at Ceesay primarily in case GT left - I suspect that he was the replacement and that it’s not happening may mean GT is not leaving.

It would be a shame imo if he left now - I’d like to give him a proper go with a more normal setup. He will always give 100% and I think if we are more focused on a solid shape off the ball and are a more compact team he is the sort of player you need.

Yeah, that could be it. I’d rather stick with what we know.
